Terms and Conditions of entry
This document sets out the
terms of participation in the
Herald Sun home magazine
15th birthday giveaway (the
"Competition").
1. Information on how to enter
the Competition and the
prize details form part of
these terms and conditions
of entry. By participating,
entrants agree to be bound
by these terms and
conditions.
2.The Promoter of the
Competition is The Herald &
Weekly Times Pty Ltd
(HWT), of 40 City Road,
Southbank, 3006, Victoria.
ABN 49 004 113 937.
3. The Competition is open to
all legal residents of Victoria
aged 18 years and over at
the date of entering the
competition except
employees and immediate
family of the Promoters and
their agencies associated
with this promotion who are
ineligible to enter.
4.The Competition commences
on Saturday 21 February
2009 and closes on Friday 27
February 2009 at 6.00pm

6. Only entries that comply
with these terms and
conditions will be eligible to
win. Entrants can enter as
many times as they wish.
The prize winner will be the
first valid entry through
random electronic
selection. The winning
entry will be selected by
Dialect Interactive, Level 9,
190 George Street, Sydney
NSW 2000 at 4pm Monday
March 2, 2009 at 4pm. The
winner will be notified by
mail, phone and their name
published in the public
notice section of the Herald
Sun newspaper on Monday
March 9, 2009.
7. Upon receipt of entries, they
become the property of the
Promoters and will not be
returned to the entrants.
The entrants irrevocably
consent to the Promoters
publishing the entries and
entrants names in the
Herald Sun home magazine
and/or The Herald Sun
Newspaper and/or internet.
8. The Promoters will not be
responsible if the prizes or
any part of the prizes
becomes unavailable for
reasons beyond the
Promoters control. In the
event of such cancellation,
re-scheduling or
unavailability of the prizes,
the Promoters will
endeavour, but are not
obliged, to provide
substitute prizes of
equivalent value.
9. The prizes are strictly as
above. The prizes are not
transferable or
exchangeable and cannot
be taken as cash. The
Promoters accept no
responsibility for any
variation in the prize value.
The promoter may in its
discretion refuse to award
any prize to any entrant
who fails to comply with
these terms and conditions.
10. Some installation, delivery
costs and extra material
costs may be required with
some prizes and is not the
responsibility of Promoter.
These are stated above.
11. To the full extent permitted
by the law, the Promoters
will not be liable for any
loss (including, but not
limited to, direct, indirect,
special or consequential
loss or damage, loss of
opportunity, revenue or
profit), expense, damage,
personal injury or death
which is suffered or
sustained (whether or not
arising from any persons
negligence) arising directly
or indirectly out of or in
connection with this
promotion or from
accepting or using the
prizes.
12.HWT is collecting your
personal information as set
out in the competition
entry form to process your
competition entries. We
may share your information
with other persons or
entities that assist us in
running this competition. .
