Thanks, It's a shame I sent my coupon off in a hurry before I checked it out properly and put 'bottom' on my entry!

Oh well, never have much luck with Tha'ts Life anyway.

I think maybe you are putting too much emphasis on the singular/plural clues. In the how to win section is does say that some clues can have more than one answer and I wouldn't think they would give away which ones by making the clues plural. I guess they are just saying 'the name of a river' and when you come across a river on the wheel you mark it off. That's my take anyways.

Sorry I meant I put 'Singapore' on my entry... it's all getting too confusing!!

I must admit, I had not heard of the Singapore River, and we always go for the most obvious answer, as we want our readers to have the best chance to win the prizes on offer.


The answer for River is Thames.
The answer for Outside boundary is Perimeter.


The answer Bottom refers to Clue 7: Shakespearean characters. Nick Bottom is a character featuring in A Midsummer Night's Dream.


In the Roulette Wheel puzzle, any clue which has more than one answer is always clued in the plural. Examples in that particular puzzle are clues 7, 10, 12, 18 and 21.
