TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Entry is free.
2. Participants must be over the age of 16 and a Victorian resident to be eligible for the competition.
3. Details of all entries will be collected and may be disclosed to third parties for the purpose of running this promotion or publicity
associated.
4. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described.
5. The competition commences Thursday February 19, 2009.
6. Entries close Midnight, Tuesday March 3, 2009.
7. The winner will be drawn randomly on Wednesday March 4, 2009 at the Geelong Advertiser office, located at 191 Ryrie Street, Geelong at 10am.
8. Online is the only method of entry. To automatically enter the draw to win entrants must subscribe to Geelong Shopper. Current subscribers’ of
Geelong Shopper can also enter simply by ‘referring a friend’ to subscribe to Geelong Shopper. The entry methods for ‘new’ and ‘current’ subscribers
of Geelong Shopper are outlined separately in points 9 and 10 below.
9. ‘New’ Geelong Shopper subscribers: To subscribe to Geelong Shopper entrants must go to www.geelongadvertiser.com.au and click
on the Geelong Shopper competition portal. They must then click through to the subscription page where all mandatory fields must be completed in the
subscriptions form. All check boxes must remain checked in order for entrants to submit their details successfully for a subscription to Geelong
Shopper. Failure to do will prevent the entrant from entering the competition draw.
10. ‘Current’ subscribers of Geelong Shopper: Current subscribers of Geelong shopper must refer a friend to enter the
competition. To refer a friend subscribers must click on the advertisement featured on the Geelong Shopper E-newsletter (sent to subscribers on
20/2/09 and 27/2/09) or on the Solus Email (sent to subscribers on 25/2/09) to bring up the ‘refer a friend’ subscription page. They must enter the
full name and email address of their ‘friend’ on the ‘refer a friend’ form. Subscribers must have permission to share the personal details their
‘friend’ before using the refer a friend function. All check boxes must remain checked in order for subscribers to refer a friend to Geelong Shopper
and once they have submitted their details successfully an invitation will be sent to the ‘friend’ to subscribe to Geelong Shopper. Failure to do so
will prevent the entrant from entering the competition draw.
11. ‘New’ and ‘current’ subscribers of Geelong Shopper may unsubscribe from Geelong Shopper at any time, but must maintain their subscription to
Geelong Shopper for the duration of the competition (19/2/09-4/3/09 inclusive) to be eligible to win a double pass to the preview screening.
12. There are 250 double passes to an exclusive preview screening of Touchstone Pictures’ Confessions of a Shopaholic to be given away.
13. Entrants may win one (1) of 250 double passes only.
14. The preview screening will be held on Wednesday, March 11 2009 at 6.45pm at Village Cinemas Geelong.
15. The winners’ will be contacted in writing.
16. Double passes to the preview screening will be sent to the winners’ via post, following the competition draw.
17. Winners’ names will be published in the Geelong Advertiser on Thursday, March 5, 2009 in public notices.
18. The winners’ must present their double pass to the ushers at Village Cinemas Geelong on the night of the preview screening in order to see the
movie.
19. The double passes are valid for the time, date, venue and movie specified in point 14 only and will expire immediately afterwards.
20. The double passes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash
21. No extra double passes or individual tickets to the preview screening are available for purchase.
22. Judge’s decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
23. Staff and immediate families of the Geelong Advertiser Group are ineligible to enter.
