not sure i like this terms and conditions part, is it meaning
if you make enough power to sell back to power suppliers that you sign it all over to them.
All Prize winners must assign (in writing, if applicable) their right to create Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs)
for their solar hot water system to Solahart for nil financial benefit.
Installation must take place before 30th September 2009.

Prize winner must be, or have authority from, the property owner for the System to be installed.
If an authorised Solahart Dealer is not available in the Prize winner’s location,
or any of the preceding cannot be complied with,
or the System cannot be installed for any other reason, the Prize will be forfeited in full
and no substitute Prize will be offered.

Buffy you sell all power that you create anyway unless you buy a battery to store it.
What you sell to the power company either comes off your power bill or you get credit (cheque if applicable)
As for the recs. Unless you are importing from overseas you dont want them anyway.
You usually sell them back to suppliers.

Yes, there was a box to tick on the entry form if you were interested in having someone come and do a free consultation for you. I paid close attention to this one and ticked the box because we've just bought a house and keen to get something installed.

Maybe just reply to the email and say sorry, you ticked the box in error.

I saw the box and didn't tick it becasue the way it was worded I knew they would contact you.

I only received a winning phone call about an hour ago, the guy said he shortlisted the entries to 15, then sent them to Solahart to choose the 2 winning entries. Put one entry in the day before it closed.

I've been ask to share what my entry involved. My entry was a rhyme, and followed the greenie theme. He said most people did greenie entries

The guy said I was the only entrant to mention buying a hybrid car with the savings, so thought it was an original idea. (I don't think this idea is totally outside of the square.)

My last line was "with Solarhart we're energy smart."
