We are filling the esky and packing the tongs to join the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival on Saturday 14 March at Federation Square.

The Connex Sizzle! is the perfect family day out. Bring a picnic rug and join in the celebration of the great Aussie BBQ.

Catch the train to Flinders Street and spread yourself out on a fully grassed Federation Square as we serve up culinary delights straight from the barbie to tempt your taste buds… all presented to you by us.

Victoria’s top chefs such as The Botanical’s Paul Wilson, Donovans’ Robert Castellani and Maha Bar & Grill’s Shane Delia will dish up BBQ salmon, prawns, vegies, lamb, pork, chicken and beef for tasting ($35 for four tasting plates), while chefs in the Global Char Grill BBQ Plaza apply Argentinean, French, Greek, Indigenous Australian and Vietnamese flavours to BBQ cuisine.

And this year there’ll be laughs thrown in for free, with a hand-picked selection of comedians from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
