D&D Ball gets a funky facelift for her 21st Birthday!
We tried to call it a night, hang up our party shoes, pack away the ol matchmaking machine. But the singles out there just wouldn’t have any of it. So, due to popular demand/ begging and pleading/ downright death threats, D&D is back… refreshed, reinvented, revived! And after a very groovy makeover, she’s sexier than ever for her 21st birthday!
Channeling the spirit of the swinging 60s and 70s, the D&D Ball Revival is all about letting loose and having fun. And like the free-loving spirits flocked to San Francisco in 1967 for the Summer of Love, so too will the dateless revelers out there flock to the Livewire precinct at Telstra Dome come Valentines Day Feb 14 2009 to get down, get funky, and maybe even get lucky!
Like all good revivals, some things have changed, some remain the same. We have kept all the good stuff that people love about D&D (all inclusive tickets, fine entertainment and matchmaking) but we’ve given her a very funky facelift.
Most notably, no more formal wear! D&D is going Retro and if you’re up for it, you can too! There is no compulsory dress code, but if you want to have some fun with the retro theme and get all shagedelic then knock yourself out!
