NSW Seniors Card holders who complete and submit the survey in the back of the 2009 Discount Directory by 12 March 2009 will enter a competition to
win 2 x adult Gold Service tickets one way on the Indian Pacific from Sydney to Perth (or vice versa).

All meals and sleeping accommodation on the 3 night journey
2 x Indian Pacific Merchandise packs (valued at $200)

Terms & Conditions
1. Information on prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to all NSW Seniors Card members except employees and the immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with the
promotion.
3. Entries will be accepted from 12th December 2008. Entries close last mail received on 12th March 2009. This is a game of chance and skill plays no
part in determining the winner. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. Entry is via a completed 2009 Discount Directory Member Survey (original, photocopy or printout from Seniors Card website). Surveys must be mailed
to
Seniors Card Member Survey, Locked Bag 16, KINGSGROVE NSW 2208.
Incomplete or illegible entries will be ineligible.
5. No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost or misdirected mail.
6. The drawing of the prize will take place at 10am on 13 March 2009 at No 6 The Crescent Kingsgrove NSW 2208. If the prize is not claimed by 16 April
2009, a redraw will take place on 17 April 2009 at the same address.
7. The winner will be notified by mail. The winner’s details will be published in the Seniors Card e-newsletter (April 2009 edition) and on
www.seniorscard.nsw.gov.au.
8. The promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address, and/or
proof of entry validity. Proof of identification, residency and entry validity considered suitable
for verifications are at the discretion of the promoter.
9. Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to the
acceptance of the prize.
10. The prize package valued at $4,300 includes:
• Two one way Gold Service tickets on the Indian Pacific from Sydney to Perth (or vice versa).
• Onboard meals and sleeping accommodation for two people on the three night journey
• Two Indian Pacific Merchandise pack. Valued at $200.
11. The offer is valid until 28 February 2010. The winner and companion ticket holder must travel together on all sectors. The tickets are subject to
space being available and therefore, travel during peak periods and embargo periods
may be restricted. Bookings cannot be made prior to 60 days before departure.

disclosed on your prizewinner certificate.
12. Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable nor redeemable for cash or other goods or services.
13. All stopover accommodation in Perth and any other travel related expenses are to be borne by the passenger. Travel insurance is not included in
the prize but it is recommended that the winner obtain coverage.
14. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability/merchantability of any of the goods/services offered as
prizes.
To the extent permitted by law, The Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited
to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in
connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to the prize winner and, where applicable, to any
family/persons accompanying the winner.
15. Neither NSW Seniors Card, Department of Ageing, Disability and Home, Great Southern Railways or their associated companies are responsible, to the
extend
permitted by law, for acts of god, acts of terrorism or war (declared or undeclared) or other events beyond the Promoter’s control which prevent
awarding of the prize in accordance with the prize description.
16. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion and update member details on the NSW Seniors Card database.
The Promoter will not disclose it to other organisations that may use it. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to
the Promoter at the address set out below.
