Nights in Rodanthe Cruise
1. This promotion is open only to Australian residents and opens on 18 February 2009. Entries close 5.00pm EST 13 March 2009. The prizes will be drawn
at 80 Bay Street Ultimo NSW 2007 on 17 March 2009 at 10.30 a.m. The promoter may conduct such further judging at the same place as the original
judging as is necessary on 31 March 2009 in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date. The promoter cannot accept responsibility for lost,
misdirected or delayed entries.
2. The prize winners will be notified in writing immediately after the judging and a complete list of winners will be available at
www.readersdigest.com.au from 6 April 2009 till 1 May 2009.
3. The enclosed promotional material, information on how to enter and prize details form part of these rules. To be eligible to enter the competition,
you must reply in accordance with the conditions specified in this promotion. All eligible responses/entries will have an equal chance to win.
4. Employees of Reader's Digest Australia Pty Ltd, Village Roadshow Pictures, Roadshow Entertainment, Warner Brothers, EasyCruising and Royal
Caribbean International and members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
5. Prizes will be awarded to the responses/entries deemed the most original and creative. The best response/entry as judged by Reader’s Digest will
win a 10 night South Pacific cruise on the Rhapsody of the Seas for two adults, flights from the winner’s nearest capital city to Sydney (if
required), a Nights in Rodanthe Pack comprising one Nights in Rodanthe DVD, one The Notebook DVD, one Nights in Rodanthe book, Journal.
6.Cruise departs November 2009.The prize is to be taken “as is” and is not transferable to other persons or
redeemable for cash.
7. Prize must be taken in its entirety. All components of the prize must be taken together. Travel insurance is not included. Travel prize does not
include meals, spending money or transport to and from departure and arrival points other than stipulated transfers. All other ancillary and travel
costs are the winners’ responsibility. All additional costs incurred whereby the prize winner wishes to make variations to the travel are the winners’
responsibility and must be booked separately by the winners
8. 20 runners-up will each receive a Nights in Rodanthe Pack comprising one Nights in Rodanthe DVD, one The Notebook DVD, one Nights in Rodanthe book, Journal. Valued at $94.80 each.
9. Total value of the giveaway is $11,704. Total number of prizes is 21.
10. In the event that any component of a prize is unavailable for any reason, subject to State legislation, the Promoter reserves the right to
substitute that prize component with another prize of equal value and the Prize Winner will be notified accordingly.
11. If a Prize or receipt of it incurs a tax liability, the Prize Winner is liable for payment of such tax.
12. All responses/entries become the property of the promoter. The promoter may use the entrants' names, addresses and photographs for promotional,
marketing and publicity purposes.

Unusual for a cruise to not include meals, that could work out pretty expensive. Wasn't this the cruise line that a lottos member had a lot of trouble with a couple of months ago?
