Cleo Magazine 28 Days of Freebies.

Entry is open to residents of Australia who purchase the March issue of Cleo from an authorised outlet between 16/02/09 and 15/03/09.
Excludes employees of the promoter, participating outlets, their immediate families, and agencies associated with this promotion.
To enter consumers must then either
SMS 19733222 with full name, alternative contact number (other than a mobile) and address (in that order). Premium sms cost is 55 cents, or
CALL 1900 921 230 and leave the requested details when prompted including full name, contact number, address and postcode. Maximum cost of 1900 call is 55 cents. Calls from payphones and mobiles may attract a higher rate.
Multiple entries permitted subject to the following:
a) only 1 entry permitted per Marchy issue of Cleo magazine purchased during the promotional period, and
b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
Instant winners will be notified immediately and in writing according to their entry method; SMS via return SMS, or phone, during their entry call and then also by mail.
Winners names for prizes over $250 published in the Australian on 19/03/09.

I just tried calling Danielle (her name and number is in the reply sms's) to ask about if it's once only per day or not.
She is on leave since yesterday till 2nd of March, voicemail said

I have been trying to enter, but have just been getting 'error sending messag' (by sms)since yesterday afternoon

Maybe terms should have stated only one prize per issue of Cleo Magazine purchased, its the only thing I can think of that makes sense, its obviously an error on their part.

I rang again and FINALLY got through to someone, although she was a bit vague about the t&c's and kept avoiding a direct answer.
She said you will need to have purchased one copy of the March issue of Cleo for every PRIZE you win. So I asked does that mean I can enter as much as I like and I only need to purchase another copy if I win and wish to enter again? She said "Essentially you will need a copy of Cleo for every entry because you may be asked for proof of purchase for each win you have".
So I asked do you mean I can enter multiple times but will need POP for one magazine if I win one prize, two magazines if I win twice, etc?"
"Yes. When you enter you will need to provide POP for your win, so essentially you will need to buy one magazine for each entry".
I am still bewildered!

I am entering once per day as I have one copy of the magazine. I can't see that I should be paying what $8 per entry. No-one needs more than one copy of it surely. It makes no sense to have to buy that many copies of one magazine.

I've only been entering once per day as per t&cs (assuming each day was a new comp).
Explains why I'm not winning!

The terms and conditions are not correct. You can enter more than once a day (they wouldnt make any money if you could only enter/ring once a day). I think the terms are supposed to state one win per day per person. I have so far won three things in the comp. Good Luck!!
