Motorcycling Australia Membership Promotion Terms and Conditions of Entry
Acceptance of Conditions
Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these conditions. Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions.
Method of Entry
Entry is made automatically by joining Motorcycling Australia Riders’ Division during the period of the promotion.
Entries may be made online at www.ma.org.au or by post to 147 Montague Street, South Melbourne 3205 using the Riders’ Division application form available at www.ma.org.au . All costs associated with entry via the internet are the responsibility of the Entrant.
Who may Enter
Entry is open to any person resident in Australia over the age of 18 years except for the directors, management and employees of the Promoter and the immediate families of the above listed persons.
Duration of the promotion
The Promotion commences on 28/09/2008. Last entries received at 11.59pm (ESDT) on 23/03/2009.
The Prize
The winner will receive their choice of either: 1 Honda CBR600RR, or 1 Honda CB1000F plus Honda Accessories to the RRP of $300, or 1 Honda VT750C, plus 1 Honda CRF50 plus Honda Accessories to the RRP of $710, or 1 Honda CRF450X, plus 1 Honda CRF50 plus Honda Accessories to the RRP of $410. On-Road costs are included in the prize. The value of the prize is RRP $15,290.00 at the time of printing. The prize is to be picked up from Honda Australia in Melbourne. Delivery to the winner outside of these locations will be at the winner’s expense. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
The Draw
The winner will be the first valid member’s name drawn at 10.30am on 26/03/2009 at Motorcycling Australia 147 Montague Street, South Melbourne, Victoria. There will be an independent observer present at the time of the draw.
Notification of the Winner
The winner will be notified by email, telephone, mail, and by the publication of the winner’s name and address in The Age newspaper on 28/03/2009.
Second Chance Draw
If the winner cannot be contacted, after a period of four (4) weeks, a second prize draw will be co conducted at 10.30am on 23/07/2009 at Motorcycling Australia 147 Montague Street, South Melbourne, Victoria, subject to any written directions of any relevant authority. There will be an independent observer present at the time of the second prize draw.
Promotion of the Winner
The winner will, at the Promoter’s request, free of charge, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, and consent to the Promoter using their name and image in promotional material.

Late or Missing Entries
The Promoter's decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on each entrant. No correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
Technical Difficulties
If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any
affected entries, subject to any written directions of any relevant authority.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax liabilities that may arise from winning the prize.
