TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR
SCOOBY DOO
READER PROMOTION

1. These conditions of entry relate to ‘Scooby Doo in Stage fright Live on Stage’ reader competition organised by Fairfax Community Newspapers ABN 77 000 310 654 of Level 1, 33 Moore Street, Liverpool NSW 2170.

2. By entering the competition, entrants shall be deemed to agree with these conditions of entry.

3. Entry is open to all NSW residents except all employees and the immediate families of Fairfax Community Newspapers and all their associated advertising agencies, who are ineligible to enter.

4. The Competition commences on 17 March 2009 at 0:01 (AEST) and concludes on 24th March 2009 at 17:00 (AEST) or with last mail received.

5. Participants must provide the following details on the back of an envelope: their name, address and newspaper from which they are entering and write in 25 words of less “Why you deserve to WIN!” to be eligible to win.

6. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Tickets are not to be re-sold

7. There are 120 Tickets to the show at 3 Locations to be won for each FCN publications. Each ticket is valued at $32 each, 15 merchandise packs valued at $100 each and 5 meet and greet the cast members of the show.

8. The prize and values are as follows:

• 15 major prizes to be won. Each winner will receive: 1x4 tickets to the show 1 merchandise pack and one meet and greet.
• 15 Runner up prizes. Each runner up will receive 1 x 4 tickets to the show
• All 120 tickets will be distributed as follows:

40 Tickets allocated to each venue
Sydney – Theatre Royal on 17 April 3pm – 40 A Reserve seats
Penrith – Penrith Panthers on 30 April 11:30am – 40 A Reserve seats
Castle Hill – The Hills Centre on 3 May 2pm – 40 A Reserve

Publications selected to attend the venues are:

Penrith Venue: Penrith City Sun, Sun Guardian, South Western Rural, Fairfield Champion, Camden Advertiser
Castle Hill Venue: Hills News, Northern News, Parramatta Sun, Blacktown Sun, ST Marys Mt Druitt Star
Sydney Venue: Liverpool Champion, Campbelltown Macarthur Advertiser, ; Wollondilly Advertiser; St George & Sutherland Shire Leader.

• Total prize pool value: $5340.00

9. The winners will be drawn at 10:00 (AEST) on Wednesday 25th March 2009. The draw will take place at Fairfax Community Newspapers, Level 1, 33 Moore Street, Liverpool, NSW 2170. If the winner is under the age of 18 years the prize will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian.

10. Winners will be notified by mail.

11. Entries will be selected by a panel of judges and will be determined on the creativity and wit of words only of their 25 Words or less answer. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.


12. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter and may potentially use the entrants' names, addresses and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant.

13. The promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail.

If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to cancellation of event or infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.

14.The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

15. No permit number required for a game of skill.
