To celebrate the 2009 Queensland Brides Wedding Expo we want to give you the chance to win some fabulous prizes, to create your special Brisbane wedding.
Or if you’re not getting married but know someone who is, make sure you still enter as the prizes are transferable.
First prize: $2000 for a wedding gown from Wendy Makin Designs, Bella Donna Range.
Second prize: $1000 from Freestyle Tout Emporium for a hen's party champagne high tea for up to 24 people.
Third prize: $500 from Xennox Diamond World for wedding bands.
Fourth prize: Ten prizes, consisting of a double pass to the 2009 Queensland Brides Wedding Expo in April and a copy of the February edition of the Queensland Brides magazine.

1. Information on how to enter form part of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry into the competition is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3. To be eligible to enter this competition, entrants must:
(a) be permanent residents of the State of Queensland who are not employees or contractors of the Promoter or immediate family members of employees or contractors of the Promoter;
(b) be over the age of 18 or have the consent of one of his or her parents or guardians to enter the competition;
(c) fully and correctly complete and submit the entry form on the ourbrisbane.com website.
4. The competition commences at 3.30pm on Tuesday 3rd of February 2009 and concludes at 11am on Wednesday 25th of March 2009 (“the Promotional Period”).
5. Incomplete, incomprehensible and corrupted entries will be ineligible and disregarded. Entries must be received during the Promotional Period. No responsibility is taken for late, misdirected or incomplete entries. Online entrants are responsible for costs associated with obtaining Internet connection.
6. Each entrant is only permitted to enter the competition once. If a person enters the competition more than once all subsequent entries will be deemed to be invalid.
7. You may not submit an entry on behalf of someone else. You may only submit an entry for yourself.
8. There will be 13 prizes and 13 winners.
9. There is one (1) first prize, consisting of a voucher to the value of $2000 which can be deemed from Wendy Makin Designs for any wedding gown from the Bella Donna range from Bella Donna Bridal, 906 Stanley St, Woolloongabba, Brisbane. There is one (1) second prize, consisting of a voucher to the value of $1000 from Freestyle Tout Emporium of Shop 50/1000 Ann Street, Fortitude Valley which can be redeemed for a hen's party champagne high tea for up to 24 people. There is one (1) third prize, consisting of a voucher to the value of $500 from Xennox Diamond World of Level 2, The Pavilion, 130 Queen St Mall, Brisbane which can be redeemed for wedding bands. There are ten (10) fourth prizes, each consisting of a double pass to the 2009 Queensland Brides Wedding Expo in April and a copy of the February edition of Queensland Brides magazine. Each of these prize packs is valued at $36. The total prize pool has a recommended maximum retail value of $3860.00.
10. All vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of draw.
11. The selection of the winners will be by random draw 1pm on Wednesday 25th of March 2009 at the offices of ourbrisbane.com, 5/171 George Street, Brisbane, QLD.
12. The first thirteen (13) eligible entries randomly drawn will be the winners.
13. If any winner does not claim their prize or cannot be contacted by 9am on Wednesday 1st of April 2009, the Promoter will redraw the prize until a contactable winner has been located and the prize is claimed.
14. If the winner is under the age of 18, the prize may be at the absolute discretion of the Promoter and be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian.

16. The Promoter may also use the winners’ names and suburbs in promotions and announcements in any of the Promoter's media releases.
17. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. The prize is transferable, but not exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Purchases must be made in one transaction and any unused value will be forfeited. Any additional terms and conditions as stated on individual vouchers apply.
19. Any additional expenses incurred by the prize-winner, other than those outlined in these terms and conditions, are the responsibility of the winner. The prize winner is responsible for all items of a personal nature including but not limited to meals, phone calls, drinks etc.
20. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize or any variation in the prize advertised and prize provided.
21. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of the prize. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with entry into the competition or acceptance of the prize. This paragraph is not intended to exclude any liability, which cannot be excluded under Australian consumer protection laws. Any such liability is limited to the resupply of the prize.
22. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify all entries from any individual who tampers with, or benefits from tampering with, the entry process which as a result corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition.
23. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it’s determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
