WIN a trip for two to Tasmania to drive the VIP TARGA TASMANIA (one of the last tarmac rally races in the world), in a mini cabriolet!
To be in the running take a picture of your BEAST or a video of it in action (please note we discourage anything that puts you or others in danger, as it's simply not cool) then tell us in 200 words or less why YOU LOVE YOUR BEAST.
A BEAST can be anything with a motor - that's right - anything as long as it's your BEAST, YOUR LOVE - your classic car, muscle car, truck, forklift, lawn mower from 1964 that is still faithful, your electric blender that just keeps going, your boat... If it's your BEAST and you love it then get it up here and tell us why...

Terms and Conditions

(1) Fill out the online entry form at www.lovethebeast.com.au
All indicated fields MUST be completed, or else your entry will be invalid.
(2) In 200 words or less, tell us why your beast is the best. Visual representation to be included. We accept images in the format of JPG, TIFF, PNG, BMP and GIF. We accept videos in the format of MOV, WMV, AVI, 3GP, MPG, MPEG, FLV and MP4.
(3) Competition opens on 5th February 2009
(4) Entries must be received by 5pm on Friday 27th March 2009. Entries received after this time will not be eligible for consideration by the Judges.
(5) The winner will be selected on Friday 3rd April 2009
Who can enter?
(6) Australian residents over the age of 18 only. Employees and immediate families of Madman Entertainment Pty Ltd , Funtastic Limited, Tourism Tasmania and the Tasmanian Department of Economic Development and Tourism, are not eligible to enter.
How are the winners determined?
(7) The winner will be the most original and inventive answer to the question, along with visual element, as determined by the Judges in their absolute discretion.
(8) This is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
(9) The Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
What do the winners receive?
(10) The winner will receive a prize pack comprising:
A return trip for two (economy class airfare) from nearest capital city to Tasmania including four (4) nights twin share accommodation, three (3) days VIP Targa Tasmania tour entry including three (3) days use of Mini Cabriolet, unlimited fuel, comprehensive motor vehicle Insurance, VIP entry to the Wrest Point Finish BBQ.
Departure THURSDAY APRIL 30th closest capital city, arrive Launceston.

(11) The winner must have a valid Australian drivers License, Targa race stages will be closed roads, speed limits apply.
(12) The winner will be notified by email on April 3rd by 5pm (Standard Eastern Time).
(13) Prizes must be taken as offered and are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, the winner does not take and element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize is forfeited. The winner is responsible for items of a personal nature including but not limited to phone calls, drinks, meals, and travel insurance, incidentals such as room service, mini bar, phone calls, excess baggage, transfers and travel expenses.
What else do I need to know?
(14) The Promoter is not liable for any entries which are lost, stolen, misdirected, delayed, illegible or damaged.
(15) The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any person who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
(16) Submitting an entry constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
(17) The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provided proof of identity and age. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
(18) The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of, or in connection with taking or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
(19) All entries become the property of the Promoter. Personal information collected by the Promoter in connection with this promotion is collected in order to administer the promotion. Personal information will not be passed to any organisation except that the Promoter will disclose the personal details of the winner to those organisations providing aspects of the prize and to prize sponsors, The Federal Hotels P/L (ABN 45 004 108 249), Targa Tasmania trading as Octagon Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 31 006 222 233) (Tourism Tasmania the Crown In Right of Tasmania represented by the Department of Economic Development and Tourism). Personal details of entrants may also be disclosed to the Prize Sponsors. Entrants can access their personal information by contacting the Promoter at the address set out in these terms.
