I hit the supermarket this morning ready to get my kilo of grapes, they have been lovely over the past few weeks, but today, YUCK they were over ripe and disgusting! I couldn't bring myself to buy them. Hope they are better tomorrow!

I bought them at COLES - now we have a kilo of grapes to eat & no entry!!!! Doh.

In my first attempt I carefully weighed my grapes in the fruit and veg section and had just over 1kg, yet when I went thru the checkout they weighed in at 995g!! Didnt realise until I was home of course...onya. Would have been the first time in the history of the world that someone would have complained about paying less at the checkout hee hee. Better luck today!

AAAARRGGGHHHH! I measured out 1.010 kg of grapes, went to check out and paid for them, looked at receipt and saw I had 995grams because HUBBY ATE 2 GRAPES WHILE WAITING AT THE CHECKOUT!!!!!!!

Opposite here , weighed in the fruit section was 1.1010 kg got to check out & was charged for 1.225kg .This was at a brand new store !!!!!!!!!

The promoters would have to be in a pretty bad mood if they argued over 5 grams surely.There are often slight discrepancies in the scales throughout the stores.

Great comp Im_Gonna_Win, still relishing these little beauties.

I had to throw 2 bags out today.
I had brought one bag, i didn't eat too many as they weren't the best.
Then i went shopping again to buy some food, they had a fresher batch out, and then the daughter comes home with a bag, said mum i got you some grapes they where on special.
I said "thanks love" i hope they're over a 1kg.
Well of course they weren't.
Never mind.
I get some more tomorrow.

They have been sweet, big and juicy. There have been some smaller ones but they have been sweet as well.

I put the green seedless ones in the freezer (short term) then eat them, frozen.


You could always stomp on them and make wine!!

Finally, upon pain of death from spider bites, I managed to buy 1kg grapes without Spiderman eating them. By the time we walked out to car, half were gone!

I would have sent him straight back into the shop to buy another kilo!
