Terms and Conditions
1. Entry and other instructions contained within promotional material form part of these terms and
conditions. By participating in this promotion entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is open to residents of Western Australia (WA) only.
3. Only original entry coupons published in The Sunday Times are valid. Photocopies and facsimiles are
invalid.
4. The competition commences on Sunday, March 1 and concludes at noon on Friday, April 3, 2009
5. There are five (5) major prizes to be won, which will be drawn at the end of the competition period on
Friday, April 3, 2009. Five (5) readers will each win a Mini-Cooper (R56) at the end of the competition
period. To enter readers must collect five tokens throughout the promotional period. Tokens will appear
in-paper on the following dates - Sunday, March 1, March 8, March 15, March 22 and March 29, 2009.
6. Readers can collect five coupons from the same edition or one from each edition throughout the fiveweek
promotional period. Readers should write their name, address and telephone number on the back
of an envelope and include the original five (5) tokens and post it to STM/ Mini-Cooper Competition,
GPO Box 2969, Perth WA, 6800.
7. Readers can enter as many times as they like but each entry must contain five original coupons per
envelope. Entries that do not include five (5) originals token will be deemed invalid.
8. There are also weekly prizes to be won over the five week promotional period. The weekly prizes and

• Week 5 - competition opens Sunday, March 29 and closes at noon on Friday, April 5, 2009:

9. To enter any of the five weekly prize draws, readers need to collect the STM-branded token in the
corresponding week commencing Sunday, March 1, 2009, write their name, address and telephone
number on the back of an envelope and post it, including the original weekly coupon, to The Sunday
Times/ Win Big Thanks to STM Competition, GPO Box 2960, Perth WA, 6800.
10. Prizes will be awarded in order of descending value. For example, the first winner drawn in week one will
receive the Rosendorff one carat Ever-Brilliant diamond solitaire ring, the second winner will receive the
Bali Holiday, the next 20 winners will receive the Maurice Mead vouchers and the final five winners will
receive the Metalicus vouchers.
11. There are five (5) major prizes, consisting of :
• Mini Cooper (R56) valued at $36,002 including Stamp duty and registration. This does not include
comprehensive insurance. Total value: $103,163.00
TOTAL VALUE OF THE MAJOR PRIZE = $180,010.00.
12. The five (5) major prize winners will be notified with details of their prize by phone and mail from The
Sunday Times on Friday, April 3, 2009. The winners will be required to present three (3) forms of
identification (ID) to claim their prize, including valid photo identification.
13. Conditions of each respective weekly prize:
o Rosendorff Ring:
• The ring is a 1ct white solitaire diamond ring set in white gold.
• Ring value is $9,500 retail. Any change in the value of the prize between the publishing date
and the date the prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the promoter. Where any prize is
unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize
of equal value.
• The ring cannot be exchanged or returned and must be collected from the Rosendorff City
Store (Hay Street) prior to Monday, August 31, 2009.
o Air Garuda:
• Prize One - drawn on Friday, March 6, 2009. Prize includes - Two Executive Class (Business
Class) airfares Perth/Denpasar/Perth. Staying at Sofitel Seminyak - 6 nights in a Grand
Deluxe Room including daily breakfast, 1hr massage for 2, return Bali airport/hotel transfers
(private car). Valid for stays 01Apr-30Jun 09, 01Oct-22Dec09 and 08Jan-31Mar10, subject
to availability at time of reservation
• Prize Two – drawn on Friday, March 13, 2009. Two Executive Class (Business Class)
airfares Perth/Denpasar/Perth. Staying at Novotel Nusa Dua - 6 nights in a One Bedroom
Suite including daily breakfast, 2hr spa treatment and 1 set menu dinner for 2, return Bali
airport/hotel transfers (private car). Valid for stays 01Apr-30Jun 09, 01Sep-22Dec09 and
04Jan-31Mar10, subject to availability at time of reservation.
• Prize Three – drawn on Friday, March 20, 2009. Two Executive Class (Business Class)
airfares Perth/Denpasar/Perth. Staying at Novotel Benoa Bali - 6 nights in a Beach Cabana
including daily breakfast, return Bali airport/hotel transfers (private car). Valid for stays
01Apr-30Jun 09, 01Sep-22Dec09 and 08Jan-31Mar10, subject to availability at time of
reservation.
• Prize Four – drawn on Friday, March 27, 2009. Two Executive Class (Business Class)
airfares Perth/Denpasar/Perth. Staying at Pullman Legian Nirwana (opening 01Jun09) - 6
nights in a One Bedroom Suite including daily breakfast, 1 themed buffet dinner for 2, return
Bali airport/hotel transfers (private car). Valid for stays 01Jun-22Dec09 and 06Jan-31Mar10,
subject to availability at time of reservation.
• Prize Five – drawn on Friday, April 3, 2009. Two Executive Class (Business Class) airfares
Perth/Denpasar/Perth. Staying at Mercure Resort Sanur and Novotel Lombok - 4 nights in a
Deluxe Room at Mercure Sanur including daily breakfast, 1hr spa treatment and 1 buffet
dinner for 2, plus 2 nights in a Sasak Villa at Novotel Lombok including daily breakfast, plus
Return flights Bali/Lombok/Bali, return Bali airport/hotel and Lombok airport/hotel transfers

o Sheraton Weekend for Two: Two night stay in the Executive Club Suite, with complimentary

o Parmelia Hilton Perth: Gift voucher for room and breakfast is valid for one year. Sunday night
only and subject to availability.
14. The prize package is to be taken as stated. Prizes are not transferable, re-routable or redeemable for
cash or other goods or services. Any additional costs or requirements associated with the prize are the
responsibility of the winner. Any additional travel requirements are at the cost of the prize winner.
15. Travel is to be booked with a representative from Air Garuda and Garuda Orient Holidays. All
components will be booked, subject to availability, at the time of booking.
16. The trips must be taken as stated. Travel tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-reroutable,
not permitting voluntary stopovers en route to your final destination. In the event the winner can not take
the trip during the specified times, the winner may transfer the prize to a family member or forfeit the
prize.
17. Trips are not valid during school holidays and peak periods. Trips must be completed by the above listed
dates, and tickets are valid for travel for one month from date of issue.
18. All ticket taxes and charges are included. Other costs such as visa on arrival (Indonesia) and departure
tax (Indonesia) are not included and must be paid locally on arrival/departure.
19. Flights and accommodation are subject to availability at time of booking. Travel prizes are subject to
availability and circumstances beyond reasonable control. Travel component cannot be exchanged for
cash, in part or total. There can be no changes made to travel arrangements once tickets are issued.
20. Any add-ons by way of taxis, additional accommodation, travel, tours, laundry, phone calls, mini bar and
other items of a personal nature will need to be arranged and paid for by the winner. Any additional
expenses such as travel insurance etc will also be the responsibility of the winner to organise and pay
for.
21. In the event the major prize winner is under 18 years of age, they must nominate a parent/guardian to
accept the total prize package on their behalf.
22. In the event that the major prize winner is country based, the recipient of the prize must make their own
way to Perth to collect their prize components from The Sunday Times and/or Auto Classic (WA) Pty Ltd.
23. The Sunday Times, Auto Classic (WA) Pty Ltd, Rosendorff, Air Garuda and all other associated
promotional partners, their advertising agencies, affiliates, sponsors or representatives absolve
themselves of any and all liability, financial or resultant arising out of, or in connection with, any contest
staged by The Sunday Times.
24. All contestants release from, and indemnify The Sunday Times – A division of Nationwide News Pty Ltd
(ACN 008 438 828), Auto Classic (WA) Pty Ltd (ABN 66 009 124 690), Rosendorff (ABN
96 008 740 949) and Air Garuda (ABN 92000861165) along with all other associated promotional
partners, against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or
participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage
to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or
otherwise.
25. The Sunday Times, Auto Classic (WA) Pty Ltd, Rosendorff, Air Garuda and all other associated
promotional partners, accept no responsibility for any delay, accident, loss, injury or damage to any
individual or property arising out of or in conjunction with the competition either during or after the
competition.
26. Employees and contractors of The Sunday Times, Auto Classic (WA) Pty Ltd, Rosendorff, Air Garuda
and all other associated promotional partners, their agencies or immediate family are ineligible for entry.
27. The promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
28. It is a condition of entry that winners agree to have their name and suburb published, in addition to
making themselves available for publicity purposes if required.
29. Where you provide us with a telephone number, we or any of our related companies may use it at any
time in the future to contact you with special offers that may be of interest to you. You confirm that you
are the telephone account holder or a nominee of that person to enable you to give this consent.
30. Your name, address and phone number are being collected by The Sunday Times in order to include
you in this competition and so we may contact the winner. Your details may be retained for up to 12
months after which time they will be securely destroyed. You can request access to your personal
information by contacting The Sunday Times Privacy Officer

I used to be able to do that - but have gremlins in the system at the moment and it won't let me. Says something like "unauthorised function" or similar -= Getting a computer clean up on the weekend so hopefully that will fix things.:mad:
