CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Information on prizes and how to enter form part of these conditions of entry.

2. The Promoter is Australian Postal Corporation (ABN 28 864 970 579) trading as “Australia Post”, Level 1,
321 Exhibition Street MELBOURNE 3000.

3. The promotion commences at 00:01am AEDT on 13 February 2009 and closes on 11:59pm AEST on 31
March 2009. No responsibility accepted for lost, late, illegible or misdirected entries.

4. Entry is open to box-holders who fulfil the entry requirements outlined below.

Australia Post post office box-holders who provide their email address and indicate they are willing to receive product and service information during the promotional period are eligible to enter the promotion. Current recipients of Out of the Box will be automatically included in the draws.
Entrants must be at least 18 years old or must have the consent of their parent(s) or guardian to enter the promotion.

Employees, directors, management, licensees and contractors of the Promoter, its related companies and
agencies associated with the promotion, the immediate families of the above listed persons, and the
retailers of and suppliers to the Promoter are ineligible to enter.

5. To enter the promotion, entrants must be an Australia Post post office box-holder who has provided their email address and indicated that they are willing to receive product and service information.

Box-holders can provide this information using the allocated space on the reverse of the 2009 invoice payment slip or customer update request or over the counter at an Australia Post outlet during the promotional period. Current recipients of Out of the Box will be automatically included in the draws. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of the receipt into the Promoter’s database.


6. The first valid entry randomly drawn each week from 5 March 2009 to 2 April 2009 in each state / territoryregion will win a Telstra wireless broadband modem including $10 credit.
The value of the prize is $149. The total number of prizes is 30 and the maximum total value of the prizes is $4470.


“Region” means: Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland, and West Australia. For the purpose of the promotion
South Australia and Northern Territory are one region, as are New South Wales and ACT.

7. The draws will take place on 5 March 2009 at 2pm AEDT, 12 March 2009 at 2pm AEDT, 19 March AEDT,27 March at 2pm AEDT and 2 April 2009 AEDT at Zebra-Direction 300 St Kilda Road, St Kilda Victoria 3182. The winner(s) will be notified by mail within 2 days of the draw date. The winner(s) names and addresses will be published in The Australian on 12 March 2009, 19 March 2009, 27 March 2009, 2 April
2009 and 9 April 2009.

8. The Promoter may conduct such further draws as are necessary if prize(s) remain unclaimed three months
after the draw. If necessary, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted on 2 July 2009 at Zebra-Direction 300 St Kilda Road, St Kilda Victoria 3182, subject to any directions given under Regulation 37 of the Lottery and Gaming Regulations, 1993 (SA).

9. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not transferable or
exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash. All entries become the property of the Promoter.

10. The Promoter, its contractors, employees and agents, shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages,
injuries, costs and expenses suffered sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) as a result of, arising out of or in any way connected with the promotion and/or its prizes, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law. Tax implications may arise from the receipt or use of a prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.

11. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or Australia Post Out of the Box Promotion 2009 alteration of, the promotion.

The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment,software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or referral’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any material in this promotion.

12. Entry into the promotion shall be deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry and is deemed approval
to use the winners’ name(s) and photograph(s) for publicity purposes. The Promoter may at its discretion
refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these conditions of entry.

Privacy Notice: We collect your personal information so you can enter, and we can administer, this promotion. Without your personal information we cannot enter you in the promotion. Subject to some exceptions allowed by law, you may request access to your personal information while we store it.

We will assess your request in accordance with the law and tell you why if access is denied. A request to access,update or correct any information should be directed to the Chief Privacy Officer, Australia Post, GPO Box
