ERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. This competition ("Competition") is conducted by Coca-Cola South Pacific Pty Ltd, ABN 50 003 029 794, of 71 Circular Quay East, Sydney, NSW
2000 ("Promoter"). Phone number: 1800 283 391.
2. Entry to the Competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form
part of these conditions.
3. Only open to Eligible Entrants. An Eligible Entrant is an individual who is an Australian resident aged 13 years or older as at time of entry,
excluding any: (i) employee of the Promoter or any of its related corporations or any of their agencies associated with the Competition; (ii) spouse,
defacto spouse, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of an excluded employee; and (iii) person who the Promoter has previously
notified is not permitted to enter the Promoter's competitions.
4. Competition opens at 00:00 hrs on 02/03/09 and closes at 24:00 hrs on 29/03/09 ("Entry Period"). All times and dates are times and dates in
Sydney which will be AEDT during the Entry Period. All times are stated using the 24 hour clock. 00:00 hrs is the start of a day and 24:00 hrs is the
end of the day.
5. "Promotional Product" means any of the following specially marked products purchased during the Entry Period from any IGA store: 'Powerade'
Isotonic 600mL, 'Powerade No Sugar' 600mL or 'Powerade' Multi-pack (3 x 600mL). A multi-pack constitutes three Promotional Products.
6. To be eligible to enter, the Eligible Entrant must purchase a Promotional Product. Entry can only be made via the internet or SMS.
7. To enter via the internet, an Eligible Entrant must visit www.promotion.powerade.com.au/IGA ("Competition Website") and follow the directions
to firstly register for a Coca-Cola account if he/she has not done so already. If an Eligible Entrant has not previously registered for a Coca-Cola
account, he/she will be required to create an account by providing an e-mail address (which will become his/her user name), password, first and last
names, postcode, date of birth, gender and a mobile or landline phone number. An entrant must not register more than once. Once registered, the
entrant must visit the Competition Website and, in accordance with the directions, during the Entry Period, provide: (a) the entrant's user name and
password, as established during registration; (b) the last five (5) digits of the Promotional Product barcode of the Promotional Product being used to
enter; and (c) the date of purchase using six (6) digits in the following format: DD/MM/YY. An Eligible Entrant must not use more than one (1) account
to submit entries on the Competition Website.
8. Any cost associated with accessing the Competition Website is the individual's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider
used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an individual to automatically enter repeatedly
is prohibited and may render all entries submitted by that individual invalid.
9. To enter via SMS, the Eligible Entrant must, during the Entry Period, send a message via SMS containing the following, in the same order, and
with a space between each bit of requested information to 1971 9711: (a) first name; (b) last name; (c) postcode; (d) the last five (5) digits of the
Promotional Product barcode of the Promotional Product being used to enter; and (e) the date of purchase using six (6) digits in the following format:
DDMMYY.
10. Premium SMS cost is 55c. Eligible Entrants who enter via SMS must have a compatible mobile with SMS premium service access. SMS Service
Provider: Dialect Interactive. Helpdesk open 9.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday on 1800 283 391. SMS winners will, when required, be contacted by SMS
and/or phone and the Promoter will record their address details so that the prize may be awarded. SMS entries via the Internet, or by other means
other than from a mobile phone, are ineligible. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the promotion database and NOT at the
time of transmission by the Eligible Entrant. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Eligible Entrant, the Eligible Entrant will be determined
by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
11. A reply SMS may be sent to the mobile phone used to send each entry. The reply SMS will state that the entry is rejected if the digits from the
purchase receipt or product barcode included in the entry are invalid or the daily limit has been exceeded. If the entrant resubmits a rejected entry,
the entrant will incur another SMS charge. The time to receive a reply may vary and receipt is subject to network coverage and availability, memory
inside the sending mobile phone not being full and any other technical problems.
12. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of
residence) and to disqualify any entrant who, in the Promoter's reasonable opinion, submits an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions
or who tampers with the entry process, including but not limited to tampering by way of use of techniques designed to avoid the payment of SMS costs.
Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not
constitute a waiver of those rights.
13. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
14. Entrants must retain all Promotional Product barcodes for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all
entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant's entries and forfeiture of any
right to a prize.
15. Multiple entries permitted, subject to these conditions, including the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per Promotional Product
purchased; (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements and these conditions; (c) unrecognised barcodes will
be deemed invalid; (d) a maximum of three (3) entries per Eligible Entrant per day via SMS is permitted; and (e) a maximum of three (3) entries per
Eligible Entrant per day via internet is permitted.
16. Entries received between 0:00 hrs and 24:00 hrs on each day of Entry Period will be entered into the daily draw for that day. There will be one
(1) daily draw on each day between 03/03/09 and 30/03/09, excluding any Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays. The daily draws for entries received on
a Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday, will take place on the following weekday. The daily draws will take place at Handling Matters, 1/3 Green
Street, Brookvale NSW 2100 at 15.00 hrs. Winners will be notified by mail. Provisional winners' names will be published in The Australian on
02/04/09. All provisional winners will only be deemed winners once verified by the Promoter.
17. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. Daily prizes: There will be a total of 28 daily prizes to be won. Each daily prize is a Sony Vaio PC including a 6 month iTrainer membership
valued at AUD$1779.00 each.
19. If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian. If the prize
is awarded to a winner's nominated parent or guardian, they take the prize subject to the same conditions as contained herein.
20. If the prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or
specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
21. Total prize pool value is $49,812.00.
22. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
23. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 07/07/09 at 1/3 Green Street Brookvale NSW 2100 at 11:00am, subject to any directions from a
regulatory authority. Winners' names will be published in The Australian on 09/07/09.
24. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph,
film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Competition (including
any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
25. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier's
requirements.
26. If for any reason the conduct or operation of the Competition is interfered with or disrupted in any way (including by vandalism, power
failures, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the
right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend or recommence the Competition, subject to the approval of the authorities that have issued permits for
its conduct.
27. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for: (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any
communication sent to (or by) the Promoter or any entrant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software
or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise, (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of
such communications; (iii) any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the
Competition; (iv) any incorrect or incomplete information which may be communicated in the course of the administering this Competition (whether as a
result of one of the foregoing causes or otherwise); (v) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not
after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (vi) any variation in prize value to that stated
in these conditions; (vii) any tax liability incurred by a winner or Eligible Entrant. Individuals should obtain independent tax and financial
advice

winner may be provided to others assisting in the conduct of the Competition, including the Competition administrator, prize suppliers and deliverers,
and to regulatory authorities. Persons may contact the Promoter by visiting www.coca-cola.com.au to request access to, or corrections of, any of their
collected personal information that is held by the Promoter. If an entrant does not provide accurate personal information the Promoter may determine

The last two days I have entered this via the website and Ive received confirmation screens for my entry but today it just went straight back to the entry page. I read in another powerade thread that its doing the same there so maybe stick with sms' entries as they are definitely going through.

Holy crapolly I wish we just had a powerade thread that distinguished between the current three comps going with this at the moment. It is so
confusing going between thread and checking out if we have done the right application to the right comp currently going at the time. I feel like I am
grasping at straws.

only one entry, then a reply stating (I think) it said a $99 watch. The lady rang this morning again saying I will receive a letter next week and all RECEIPTS and barcodes for each entry will need to be supplied to collect i.e. if you entered 3 times then three receipts and three barcodes will have to be verified. I only bought one and entered once

God, why would anyone encourage that kind of dishonestly in entering comp.

Totally agree...and going by the Coles and Safeway Powerade Comps. I think they will be asking for receipts and in order to get stat dec. signed, the person signing will have to see the original receipt before signing it, so I think receipts will be necessary:0)
I know these powerade comps are causing huge concern for us all.. i also have one a few times.. first few days havent hearnt nothing as of yet ?
however i do wish that the promotors would abide by their own t&cs.. or atleast tell all winners the same thing... i do think that they should run
a promotion alot better..

If you buy a three pack do you use barcode that is wrapped around the pack or enter the barcode found on each individual powerade bottle, any help would be appreciated.

Promoters reserve the right to request what they wish in order to validate a win regardless of the value of the prize. So I now expect that I may be
asked to provide ID, receipts for all entries and packaging if I win. Hell, I may even be asked to provide receipts if I don’t win but happen to have
multiple entries in the competition! That’s the way it is now thanks to the level of cheating. So I guess if your not happy with that, don’t enter

I did not mean CHEAT. I meant that for everyone trying to keep track of which barcode goes with which receipt, don't panic as any of the bar codes
go with the receipt. You stilll have to buy them to enter. Otherwise you won't have a bar code!
I received my Stat Dec as well and it hasn't asked for a copy of the receipt - only original label and copy of ID. But I have photocopied my receipt
as well and will send it all in today.
Don't know what I was thinking when I said I entered on the last day in my earlier post!!!! Must have been the excitement of actually winning!!

I think this ends on the 29/03 not the 31/03 as per the title. Might need to change it so people don't get caught out.

it closed on the 29th I brought one on the 30th it was surpose to close on the 31st.

congrats to the winners it was a very disapionting comp for me after buying around 100 entering several times web and sms every day and then finding out they only wanted one label for POP very annoying.
thats not what i was told on the phone. apparently they had complaints. they have the right to ask for addition pop etc.

The Caltex one was a pain as the codes didnt even make it to Tassie!!!! and it was a national comp!!

LisaBart 2nd chance draws are pretty common its where I win most of my stuff from LOL.. it usually means the original person didn't or couldn't
provide POP as required by the promotors.

I sent POP even though they didn't ask for it. I can understand people being annoyed about this comp. I purchased around 25 bottles for this one
and it's annoying to think that some people may get away with cheating. What I really can't understand is them wanting so many details for the
camera and watch comps and not this one? Bizarre!

i received mine last thursday - huge box. i don't really know if it can be classed as a laptop - it's more like a portable pc - it's huge. i'm not
complaining, but it would be hard to sit it on your knee for any lenght of time as it's quite heavy.
i noticed in the pns it stated vaio pc not lap top.
it's very swish tho.
