Terms and Conditions

By entering the Swisse Vitamins Consumer Promotion competition, you are agreeing to the following terms
and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed
acceptance of these conditions of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Swisse Vitamins Pty. Ltd., My Chemist, Chemist
Warehouse, HOLDEN, and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition commences on Friday 26th December, 2008 @ 00:01 (AEST) and concludes on
Tuesday 31st March, 2009 @ 23:59 (AEDT) (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 Entrants must purchase any two Swisse Vitamins branded products (excluding Swisse Childvite 1
and Swisse Childvite 2) (“Eligible Product”) during the Competition Period, available from My
Chemist and Chemist Warehouse stores nationally. Each “Eligible Product” will contain a barcode
printed on the label. Entrants must submit the last six (6) digits from their “Eligible Product” barcode
for entry into the draw.
3.3 Entrants must retain their receipt and product packaging of the two “Eligible Products” as proof of
purchase and therefore valid entry into the competition. Failure to produce the product packaging,
purchase receipt, proof of identity (and for entrants under the age of 18, permission from a parent or
guardian over the age of 18 upon request may cause the entry to be invalid and therefore ineligible
to win a prize.
3.4 Entrants may be required to provide their original purchase receipt/s for all entries into the
competition if requested by the Promoter or sponsor.
3.5 Purchase receipts must clearly specify that the purchase was made during the Competition Period.
3.6 To be eligible to enter customers must do the following:
a) fill out the entry coupon available from My Chemist and Chemist Warehouse stores nationally, and
include the last six (6) digits from their two “Eligible Product” barcode along with the date they
purchased the “Eligible Product”, their full name, email address, street address (including postcode)
and daytime telephone number (including STD area code). Completed coupons to be mailed to
Swisse Vitamins ‘WIN A NEW CAR WITH SWISSE’ competition, 36-38 Gipps Street, Collingwood,
3066. Only two (2) barcodes may be entered per entry, per person.
3.7 Only one (1) entry may be lodged per person, per purchase of two “Eligible Products”.
3.8 For valid entry into the prize draw entries made using coupons from My Chemist and Chemist
Warehouse stores nationally must be received by the Promoter by the regular last mail on Friday 3rd
April 2009.
3.9 All entrants under the age of 18 must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the
age of 18 to enter.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be (1) major prize winner drawn from the national pool to become winner as outlined
below:

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between the date of printing and
the prize delivery date.
4.2 If a prize winner cannot provide their original purchase receipt/s for all entries into the competition (if
requested by the Promoter or sponsor) they may not be awarded their prize.
4.3 Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
4.4 The major prize is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
4.5 In participating, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities
relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed, filmed for broadcast, and
photographed. The winner agrees to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to
use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners (and their companion) will
not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.6 Competition is not open to those under the age of 18.
4.7 Winners should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from the
prize winnings.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be one (1) major prize winner drawn from the national pool of entrants at Swisse Vitamins,
36-38 Gipps Street, Collingwood, VIC, 3066 on Monday 6th April 2009 @ 10:00 (AEDT).
5.2 Each entrant who has entered the competition over the duration of the “Competition Period” via the
entry coupon in from My Chemist and Chemist Warehouse stores nationally and can provide proof of
purchase of eligible products from the Swisse Vitamin product range will be entered into the draw.
5.3 Winner will be notified by a phone call, and a letter advising the winners of their prize will also be
express posted. The winner of the major prize draw on will be published in the Public Notices
section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 4th May 2009.
5.4 The major prize winner will be required to provide their proof of purchase (original receipt/packaging
of “Eligible Product”) by mailing, at no cost to the winner, to Swisse Vitamins, by Friday 10th April
2009 in order to receive their prize.
5.5 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the
result.
5.6 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners must comply with all the conditions of use of
the prize and prize supplier’s requirements.
5.7 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the major winner may be required to sign a legal release in
a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
5.8 An unclaimed major prize draw will take place at Swisse Vitamins, 36-38 Gipps Street, Collingwood,
VIC, 3066 on Monday 6th July 2009 at 10:00 (AEDT) and winner be published in the Public Notices
section of The Australian newspaper on Friday 31st July 2009.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly
hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner
described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures,
tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may
in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same
conditions, subject to state government legislation.
6.2 Swisse Vitamins Pty. Ltd. and My Chemist and Chemist Warehouse, HOLDEN and their associated
agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost
or misdirected mail.
6.3 Swisse Vitamins Pty. Ltd. and My Chemist and Chemist Warehouse, HOLDEN and their associated
agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but
not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
a) during the draw;
b) whilst undertaking any travel connected with their entry into the draw;
c) in the participation of the prize;
d) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
e) due to the publication of any material relating to the competition, including any statements made
by any staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
6.4 Swisse Vitamins Pty Ltd assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion,
defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or
unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be
available subject to State Regulation.
6.5 If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but
not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes
beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness,
integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to
disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available,
and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition subject to State Regulation.

7.2 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Swisse Vitamins, (ABN 62 004 926 005), is
collecting the entrant’s personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this
competition (including but not limited to determining and notifying winners) and the entrant’s personal
information may be disclosed to My Chemist and Chemist Warehouse & HOLDEN for this purpose.
In addition, if you consent, your personal information will be used for the purpose of Swisse Vitamins
Pty. Ltd, My Chemist and Chemist Warehouse, HOLDEN, sending you information regarding Swisse
Vitamins, My Chemist and Chemist Warehouse, HOLDEN and associated products, and your
information will be disclosed to Swisse Vitamins, My Chemist and Chemist Warehouse, HOLDEN for
this purpose. The entrant may request access to his or her personal information by writing to the

Am i the only one wanting to know what happened to the promotion ??
I emailed the promotor wondering why no one was listed as per the T7C's monday should have been.. this is my response...
For your information, the winner has been selected; however we are still waiting for them to accept the prize, which is why it has not been advertised yet. If the winner does not contact us the unclaimed prize will be drawn on the 6th of July. Good luck and look out for more Swisse competitions coming soon.

So question shouldnt it have been provisional winner upon verification ?? or listed on a website or something.. how can the winner contact them ?? if they dont know they won???
