Entry is open only to Australian residents who are aged 18 years or over and who:
(a) are registered as members of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program during the Promotion Period; and
(b) have had Qantas Frequent Flyer points ('QFF points') automatically credited to their Qantas Frequent Flyer account during the Promotion Period
(whether the applicable QFF points were earned before or during the Promotion Period) as a result of making eligible purchases on a Participating
Card, as recorded in that member's Qantas Frequent Flyer Activity Statement whether online in 'Your Activity' at qantas.com or in paper form
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, a Participating Card means each of the following:
Earth,
Earth Gold,
Earth Platinum,
Qantas American Express Classic,
Qantas American Express Premium,
Qantas American Express Ultimate,
American Express cards with the Membership Rewards Qantas Direct loyalty program,
ANZ Frequent Flyer Visa,
ANZ Frequent Flyer Visa Gold,
ANZ Frequent Flyer Visa Platinum,
ANZ Frequent Flyer Diners Club,
Frequent Flyer Diners Club,
NAB Qantas Gold,
NAB Qantas Platinum,
Commonwealth Bank credit cards with Commonwealth Awards for members that have opted in to Qantas Frequent Flyer Direct,
Westpac credit cards linked to the Altitude Qantas loyalty program,
Westpac BusinessChoice cards linked to the BusinessChoice Rewards Program,
any other credit or charge card specified by Qantas during the Promotion Period.
The notional value of each prize is approximately A$14,526 based on a sample of the flight awards that could be obtained by redeeming the Prize Points
through the Qantas Frequent Flyer program (as more fully defined in the Terms and Conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, 'Awards') as at
24 October 2008. For example, 1,000,000 Qantas Frequent Flyer points could be redeemed for five (5) return Economy Qantas Classic Award flights
between Sydney and London (total of 640,000 points) and six (6) return Economy Qantas Classic Award flights between Sydney and Singapore (total of
360,000 points) excluding applicable surcharges, fees and taxes (which the member would have to pay at the time of redemption in addition to redeeming
the stated number of Points to obtain those Awards). As at 24 October 2008, the dollar fares for equivalent commercial return Economy seats total
A$14,526 excluding applicable surcharges, fees and taxes (which the passengers would have to pay at the time of purchase in addition to these fares).
The total prize value is therefore approximately A$145,260.00 in total. This estimate of value is provided for the purposes of licensing this
promotion only - the value of the Prize Points will vary depending on whether and how they are used.
how do you enter this?
I am a little confused, does any purchase count...eg groceries bought with card or must it be a Qantas flight to qualify?
The way I understand is that any purchase you make with your Frequent Flyer linked credit card (cards listed in original post) earns you an entry
