The winner will be determined by a judging panel who will revue each completed entry and choose the winner from those they consider to be the best, in terms of need, humour or any other reason.

The judges decision will be final.

Entries will close at midnaight on 31/3/2009.

Winners will be notified by email and their first name and suburb will be published on this page on the 1/4/2009

All entrants will be invited to receive a $25.00 ABSCO Vouchers and a $10 Hardware Delivered Voucher Free of charge

hmmm I wonder about this site and their comps. just looking at it now they have a comp to win resort rewards, supposedly monthly, no terms and conditions, yet they have not updated winners since april 08.

maybe shoot of an email and as them if winner has been drawn/notified etc.

I did get an email from them a while back about taking pics of your new shed. Now, if the comp had been to take pics of your OLD shed to WIN a new shed then I would have won for sure

I emailled about a week after the winner was meant to be announced and asked when it would happen. No reply to my email, just an auto response they send to all enquiries that come through their website.

Poor form.

Thanks for the info Ekajata, if they run their business the way they ran this comp I can't imagine they will be in business much longer

We announce prizes around 6 months after the month of purchase to allow
people to erect their sheds.

Oh bugger, I just entered it not checking the date and then read all your replies. Thats shocking for such a large firm and well known too.

If the comp was finished why haven't they updated their web site to state that.

That really bugs me with these large firms.

I have just email again this time quoting the comp with the link and asked him to clarify his previous response. Also asked why the comp is still 'live' on the website.

Was just in the mood to do this - wasn't going to bother - but it is not good enough.

COOL maybe we will get clarification. Not that I am at all concerned about winning as I totally stuffed my entry lol. I just don't like companies that don't uphold their end of the 'bargain'. Geez I wouldn't want to get any junk mail, emails or calls from this lot !

I think his answer related to the ongoing comp where you can win the cost of your shed back, as winners are listed there, why they wait 6 months is beyond me though! Must want a pic of your shed, but that is not a requirement of that comp either!
Sounds like he didn't know about this comp though! Hate to think how long it would take to fix if you had a problem with your shed! Comps are a 'P.R.' exercise to get people to buy from them, don't these companies realise this? BY running it poorly how many sales do they lose!
