Complete all or 1 of the 3 competition crosswords in this edition.

Magazine costs rrp $6.95

Prizes available are

Baffler - DVD player (2) , Poloroid Camera, Headphones, Lovatts Gift Vouchers

Maxi - $500 cash and 10 x $10 cash

Cluewords - Polaroid Pogo instant mobile printer, Crossword Dictionary (4), headphones, lovatt gift vouchers

Oh my the Baffler must be simplier this issue - I've nearly completed it - just 2 clues left to solve. Only took me about 2 hours - which is absolutely unusual for me!!!!

My two clues I'm stuck on are:

Stencil Duplicating Machine - R _ N _ _ found it is Roneo

Advance Guard SCO_ _ (is it Scout?)

I'm still looking for these answers.

So if anyone needs a hand with the other clues please post and I'm happy to share my answers.

Now off to finish the Big Demon, then finish off the Maxi and the Clueword.

I'm having trouble with the Maxi! I can't figure out three of the answers:

Centre: A _ _
Terminate: _ _ _ _ T
Sol: _ _ A
(sun doesn't seem to fit with my other answers)

Cheers

If my answers are correct (and I hope they are)

For centre I have HUB. (The 'H' is from lentil dish - I have DHAL). (The B is from ABORT).

For terminate I have ABORT.

I think you might find that due to the small print that 'sol' is actually 'so!'. If so I think the answer is 'AHA'.

Hope that helps!

Thank you, I had figured out DHAL, HUB and ABORT. But I didn't use a magnifying thingee to see So!

I'll have to look more closely at things next time.
Thanks so much.
