INTRODUCTION
1.1 The following terms and conditions apply for the Lotterywest Easter Indulgence
Competition. By submitting an Entry into this competition, Entrants warrant that they have
read, understood and agree to be bound by them.
1.2 These terms and conditions can be downloaded from the link provided in the email sent out
on 2 April 2009.
1.3 To enter the competition Entrants must purchase a $4 Cashed Up for a Year ticket. They
must then use the link provided in the email sent out on 2 April 2009 to submit their
details, including the ticket number from their scratchie ticket. Entry can only be
made via the emailed Entry Form.
ELIGIBILITY
2. Entry and other instructions contained within promotional material form part of these Terms
and Conditions. By participating in this promotion entrants agree to be bound by these
Terms and Conditions.
3. Entrants must reside in Western Australia (WA) in order to enter and be eligible to win.
Entrants must be aged sixteen (16) years or over to play lottery games in Western
Australia and be eligible to win the competition.
4. Entries must be received by Lotterywest by 6:00pm on Tuesday 7 April, 2009.
5. Entrants must provide a valid phone number and email address.
6. Employees of Lotterywest, their agencies or companies associated with this promotion and
their immediate families are ineligible to enter this competition. Owners, Directors and staff
of Lotterywest licensed retailers and their immediate families are all ineligible to enter this
competition. Immediate family includes spouse, defacto spouse, parent, natural or adopted
child and sibling.
7. Entrants may enter as many times as they like during the promotional period however a
ticket number can only be entered once. Multiple entries require multiple ticket purchases.
PRIZE(s)
8. All prizes are in Australian dollars and are correct at the time of printing.
9. There is one prize to be won. This prize will consist of a chocolate gift basket valued
at $100.00.
10. The prize is not redeemable for cash unless otherwise specified.

DRAW
11. The prize draw will take place at 3.00pm on Wednesday 8 April, 2009. (74 Walters
Drive, Osborne Park).
12. The major prize winning entry will be deemed to be the first valid entry drawn, however the
winning ticket must be presented for a prize to be issued.
PRIZE CLAIMS
13. All Scratch’n’Win tickets entered into the draw must be retained for presentation to
Lotterywest should you win a prize. Both winning and non-winning tickets will be accepted
into the promotion however if you choose to enter a winning ticket you will not be able to
collect your win until after the promotion has finished as you are required to produce the
ticket for verification. (Retailers are required to dispose of any winning tickets once they
have paid out on them so you will not have it available for validation should you win a prize
in the promotional draw.)
14. Winners have until 4:00pm Friday 17 April 2009 to verify their ticket. Any winning ticket not
verified by this time will be forfeited and a redraw will take place. Prizes must be collected
within 28 days of the date of the draw. Regional winners can liaise with Customer
Enquiries and Helpdesk to organise a suitable arrangement for collection of prizes. Any
prizes not claimed by this time will be forfeited.
15. Prize winners will be notified by email and/or telephone.
16. To collect their prize, winners must produce their eligible $4 Cashed Up for a Year
Scratch’n’Win ticket with numerical code matching the emailed entry and show
identification at the Lotterywest head office at 74 Walters Drive, Osborne Park 6017.
Regional winners (anyone located outside of the Perth metropolitan area), can call
Lotterywest Customer Enquiries on 08 9340 5200 to validate their prize.
17. Two forms of identification, including one item of photo identification must be shown in
order for the prize winner to collect their prize.
PUBLICITY MATERIALS
18. Lotterywest reserves the right to use any forfeited prizes for other promotions.
19. It is a condition of entry that Lotterywest has the right to publicise names, characters,
likenesses or voices of any contestants for any promotion or matter incidental to the
competition.
RELEASE AND INDEMNITY
20. Lotterywest, their advertising agencies, their affiliates, sponsors or representatives
absolve themselves of any and all liability, financial or resultant arising out of, or in
connection with any contest staged by Lotterywest.
21. All contestants release from and indemnify Lotterywest (ABN 78 531 150 466), against, all
liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of the prize or participation in the
competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to
property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or
omission or otherwise.
22. Lotterywest accepts no responsibility for any accident, loss, injury or damage to any
individual or property arising out of or in conjunction with the competition either during or
after the competition.
23. The promoter takes no responsibility for the loss of prizes due to incorrect or imprecise
contact details provided by an entrant. The Promoter is not responsible for lost,
interrupted communications or unavailable network server or other connections, failed
telephone, mid-delivery or computer transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether
human, mechanical or electronic.
24. The promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual for:
a) Tampering with the entry process, including exceeding any limitation on the numbers
of entries, or any other process as determined by the promoter that in any way affects
the fairness of the promotion;
b) Tampering with the operation of the competition or website; or
c) Acting in violation of these terms and conditions.
DECISIONS FINAL
25. In all matters, all decisions of Lotterywest and staff will be final and cannot be contested.
No correspondence or discussions will be entered into.
