composer whose work will premiere at the concerts, and include your name, address and daytime phone number, plus the date of the concert you would

SOME of the notes will be played on a toy piano when the Sydney Youth Orchestra performs the world premiere of a new concerto.
The concerto for percussion is by Australian composer Elena Kats-Chernin, named as one of the 100 most influential people of 2008.
In a rare move by the young orchestra, the classical piece called Golden Kitsch was specially commissioned for the orchestra and includes an
impressive solo for percussionist Claire Edwardes.
Among the instruments Edwardes will play will be the vibraphone, waterphone, almglocken and a toy piano.
The Sydney Youth Orchestra will also perform the Rimsky-Korsakov composition, the sumptuous Sheherazade.
Clarinet player, Georgina Oakes (pictured), 29, of Wollstonecraft will play a solo in this piece.
