Lottos search function, I cant seem to use it
OK, I know it's probably really quite easy, but every time I try to search something I get no results. I even put in my own user name and no
result!
Is there some trick or tip to using it?
Any help would be appreciated. |

Okay Suecat17 it must be you
I just put in your username and got heaps of results!
Maybe you are changing the other fields and excluding all the results?
Is there something in particular that you are searching for?

Thanks for the reply RAD, dashed around madly doing housework so I can justify another stint on the computer.  Also had to comb out master 12 nit treatment, comfort miss three and cook something for lunch. Next is shopping.
You know how it is.......
Anyhoo, just put cashcash into the search, with my user name, and left it to search all areas and nothing. I don't think I have ever had a result on
search so I've sort of given up trying. Today I wanted to sort it out as I hate not knowing

I don't put my username in when I'm searching for something. I'll just put cashcash or carcar etc. Try leaving your user name out maybe.

Suecat, just try one search. Click on the Search button then type cashcash in the Seach for field and click on Search. Do not type anything else. See
if that works.

Just got back from doing my own dash around
Yep, you only put in your username if you are looking for posts that you did.
Looking for threads with cashcash, just put that in the "Search for:" box and hit the search button.

Aaahhhhh........she says as the penny finally drops. It was putting my user name in that was doing it. Thank you every one. I'll just hide under a
toadstool for a while to recover from the embarassment "blush"

don't worry suecat17- I was waiting for someone to bite the bullet and ask for help- as I was also putting in my user name and not getting
anything-so it wasn't just you!
