Today Show: Great Cash Giveaway
The Great Cash Giveaway is back! Each day for two weeks from Saturday, September 4, TODAY and WEEKEND TODAY will be giving two lucky viewers the
chance to participate in the Great Cash Giveaway.
Starting on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, you will be able to register your details for The Great Cash Giveaway.
From Saturday, September 4, 2010, each day during TODAY and WEEKEND TODAY's live broadcasts, two lucky people will be drawn to participate for their
chance to win $5000.
Competition participants will be drawn the weekday prior to the on-air call to play via the phone. Upon answering the call, the winner must state "I
wake up with TODAY".
All winners who have been called will automatically win a minimum of $500 cash. If the person called answers the phone within five rings and answers
correctly by saying "I wake up with TODAY", they can win a minimum of $5000. If the person answers the call incorrectly, the $5000 jackpots to the
next entrant called.
How to enter
Call and register your full name, address and the number you would like to be contacted on.
Or
SMS those details.
The service provider is 5th Finger. SMS and 190 calls cost 55c including GST and 190 calls cost higher from mobiles.
Each draw period closes 4pm AEST the Weekday prior to the day of the cash call. All cash calls will be made during the broadcast of the TODAY and
WEEKEND TODAY between Saturday, September 4 until Friday, September 17, 2010.
Entrants under the age of 18 must seek the account holder's permission. Helpline number: 1300 464 866. All entries will be carried forward to each
subsequent draw. Residents of all states and territories are eligible to enter. Competition closes Thursday, September 16, 2010, at 4pm AEST.

Hey Kelster.
Bit confused here. The T&Cs state:
4. There are two ways of registering for the Competition:
a. 1-90 Call: Participants can call and register their full name and a
telephone number they will be able to be contacted on during the time
stipulated in Table A to 1902 555 901 Maximum 1-90 entry cost per
message is 55c including GST. Calls from mobiles and pay phones may
attract a higher rate. 190 Service Provider is 5th Finger Pty Ltd.
b. SMS: Participants can text their name and phone number they will be
able to be contacted on during the time stipulated in Table A to 199 55
901. Participants only need to submit a phone number that they can be
contacted on if it differs from the mobile phone they entered the
competition on. Maximum SMS entry cost per message is 55c including
GST.
6. For the removal of doubt, all un-drawn entries will be carried over into the
subsequent Draw Periods.
Do I sms my Name/Address/Phone # or Just my Name (as the phone I'm texting on is the phone is HOPE AND DREAM they'd be calling on)
Also, does point 6 mean that entries roll over??? That's nice of them!

So can I ask - the times they would ring for Today & Weekend Today broadcast hours are between???....
Just so we don't say this all day it's not a good look!

Heres hoping Last time this was on it was my Birthday and when my sister rang from a private number I got all excited said "I wake up with
Today"....she thought it was funny that I was saying that "I woke up Today" hehe
