BP Win an iPad every 6 hours
Entry methods: Online SMS Purchase Req, Freq: Other, Prize pool: $111,860, Closes 05/01/2011

To enter spend $7 in store (EXCLUDES FUEL AND TOBACCO) at BP to recieve your scratch card.
To enter, consumers must, during the Competition Period, spend a minimum of $7 in one transaction (excluding fuel and tobacco) (Eligible Purchase) at
a participating BP store to receive an entry card with a unique code (subject to entry card stocks remaining) and submit their entry by one of the
following methods:
a) send an SMS (maximum cost 55 cents (inc GST) from their mobile phone to 1977 5555 stating in one message, and in the following order, their unique
code, their full name and postcode (errors and omissions excepted in the Promoter’s discretion. Computer generated SMS entries will not be
accepted);
or
b) visit www.bppromos.com.au and fully complete and submit the online entry form, including their full name, address, unique code, email address and
any additional information as required by the Promoter. Consumers are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the Internet.

Yeah that confused me too, but it's $7 worth of anything that's not tobacco or fuel.
And entries roll over. I have set a reminder on my mobile to go buy $7 worth of stuff that morning.

Yeah, I edited that bit out about the "Buy 2 cokes" as it wasn't really relevant. Trying to ride the coat tails of another promo. But at least I
can thank coke for letting me know about the comp.

Same thing happened to me. I rang them last night before going to bed just to make sure they had them & was told "Yeah, there's 5 boxes of
them, I'm looking right at them".
Alarm set, off to bed & up early to be back in time for the 6am draw - & no freaking cards! NOT HAPPY!! To top it off the man serving was
quite rude even before I asked for the cards. They had heaps of the promo stuff up everywhere - so frustrating. It is a major 24hr servo. Had to
drive on to the next BP - totally the opposite - no promo stuff, helpful staff and they had the cards! Too late for the first draw though.

Also subject to massive cheating. There is NO mention on either the game card or the T&C's about a receipt - you only need the game card to
claim your prize.
At my servo it was a young chap - and when I asked him if I spend $14 do I need 2 receipts he said that I didn't even have to spend $14 that even if
I spent $2 he'd give me a couple. I spent $22 therefore thinking I'd get 3 but then he gave me 6!! I only entered the 3 because I believe in karma
- but am disappointed that there may be lots of winners who actually didn't even purchase the required amount - not to mention this young chap
probably giving a box or 2 to his mates!!!!

I spent $8 this morning but the servo didnt have any of the entry coupons 
and I felt like a tight a$$ walking out without buying the drinks jsut cause they didnt have the coupons. I didnt really want the drinks anyway, oh
well. If anyone would like to u2u me a spare coupon code I would be much appreciative

there is a contact us link on the comp page
the more people that contact them and complain about their slack terms and no receipts the more liklihood there future comps will have stricter
terms
i contacted them and complained, its the only way things get changed

They definitely should ask for receipts, I am very surprised that they don't, I always keep my receipt to claim a prize if I do win.

I got petrol, so while paying for that asked if they had the cards. No one knew anything about it and told me it was a BP Company comp and they
weren't doing it (even though that exact servo is on the list of perticipating ones). Needless to say I only bought the petrol & nothing else.

my servo tried to tell me that the coke comp that finishjed last night was the card that i needed... i argued politely that they were wrong and that i
was after the ipad cards (signs were up everywhere) until finally they went out the back and got boxes of the cards... he said that they werent told
to give them out so wouldnt have known if i didnt ask....
odd considering how many signs were up, including on pumps and the poles on entry!!!

In SA not all BP's participate. The ones afilliated with On The Run generally arent included in these promos and the BP's affiliated with wild bean
are. Last promo I went to one on the participating list and they had no cards despite the flyers but I emailed them via the contact us on the promo
page and they emailed me back codes and advised me to keep my receipt and the email in case I won. They were very helpful.

i rang my servo last night wanted to get in the first draw but said there were no signs up and would only have cards after 8 am when the manager
arrived. honestly she would not have had time to put all the signs up before I got there. I rang again & they said that I only needed 1 reciept
for 3 x$7. after I paid she said next time I would need seperate receipts. so IF I win my reciept will not qualify.

Thanks for breaking them in for me, jo. I still had to ask for my card, but the attendant gave me one as soon as he double-checked my purchase amount.
Funny thing was, he was reading the back of one of the cards as I approached him, so it should have been in his mind. He informed me that I'd already
missed out on 2 opportunities (thanks for that!) and then he pointed to a receipt on the counter and said he'd bought stuff earlier and entered. I
didn't tell him he didn't need the receipt, of course. Aren't employees usually exempt from entering?

Yep they sure are Mammacass as per T&C's, I'd be writing that in your email too

I had to tell them i needed a card too, she went and got a box.
The advertising is everywhere on all items owned by Coke. I had to let her know it isn't a coke comp. She read the card and said...OK...its spending
$7 on anything.
I was going to try and enter lots but the entries roll-over, and if there iare people getting masses of cards for low number of purchases I cant spend
a small fortune chasing this prize

I had my 2 purchase ready to enter into the first draw but got a LWE and the excitement distracted me and I missed the first draw. Im now in the
later draws.
