To enter into the first draw of the Competition, entrants must read Better Homes and Gardens
Magazine with cover date 25 May 2011, or watch Better Homes and Gardens (“the Program”) on the
Seven Network and affiliates on Friday 3rd June, 2011 when there will be a Competition segment
aired during the Program which will invite viewers to enter the competition, using any of the following
methods:
a) online through www.yahoo7.com.au/fordterritory and register their name, address (including
postcode), daytime telephone number (including STD area code) and email address.
b) telephone 1902 55 77 00 and register their name, address (including postcode) and daytime
telephone number (including STD area code); OR
c) text message/SMS to 19 777 677 including their full name and state.
2 Draws but can only enter once during entire promotion
All entries into the first draw of the competition must be received by Monday 6th June 2011 at 23:59
AEST.
All entries into the second draw of the competition must be received by Monday 13th June, 2011 at
2359 (AEST).

When you read the T & Cs it appears that you must enter only during a SPECIFIC period, i.e. during the airing of the program.
Do others read it that way?

there will be a Competition segment aired during the Program which will invite viewers to enter the competition, using any of the
following methods:
I read that as the "invitation" to enter any time after the show is aired - although if the magazine is out already, with the same invitation to
enter, then I reckon it's good to go.
Does humdinger or anyone else actually have the BH&G Mag dated 25 May 2011 with the comp details in it?

They indicate it opened 20 May, so I can't see why people can't enter already...up to each person I guess.

Never seen them have such a restriction before.
If you do happen to enter more than once, only the first entry will be counted. Boy, this is gonna throw the general public who don't study
T&C's like we do.
Wonder why? I always understood that they get around half of the cost of each phone call for holding the comp, and the more entries the better for
them.

The T & Cs state tha the TIME of entry will be recorded as being when the SMS, online or phone entry is RECEIVED. There must be a specific reason
for mentioning this, I think. The alarm bells are ringing ...
There goes MY entry if that is the case. I didn' read them before I clicked on "submit"!

That time of entry being when the promoter receives it is in heaps of comps, covers them if you send an SMS 5 minutes before it ends and they don't
receive it until say an hour later because of a delay from your carrier then they don't have to include it in the entries as it is when they receive
the entry, not when you send it IYKWIM

pantha, I entered the other BH&G comp (Panasonic, I think) last night. I sent two entries and received six replies. So, could be a BH&G issue.
