TERMS AND CONDITIONS
How to enter the competition
Pick up a Patch birthday official entry form available from any Pumpkin Patch store (excluding outlet stores)
located in Australia or download from the Pumpkin Patch website. Have your child colour in the birthday
scene, fill out the entry form details that and then return it to your nearest Pumpkin Patch store (excluding
Outlet stores) between 31st May 2012 and close of business 17th June 2012 (the “competition period”).
Alternatively you may post (at your expense) your competition entry form
to: Patch birthday competition,
PO Box 5073, Chatswood West, NSW 1515.
Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network
connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible, garbled
or delayed entries or other communications or technical problems related to the competition or competition
entries. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person who tempers with the entry
process or who otherwise violates these rules. Sponsor is not responsible for address changes or entrants.
Limit one entry per child. All entries become the property of sponsor and will not be returned.
Eligibility
The competition is open to all citizens and permanent residents of
Australia aged 2 to 12 years.
Pumpkin Patch Originals Ltd and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and each
of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (“sponsor and its agents”) and members of their
immediate families and people living in the same household of each are not eligible.
Winner
On the 6th July 2012, the winning entries will be selected by the judge(s) based on artistic merit having
regard to the age of the entrant. There will be three winners in total, one per age group in three age
categories – 2 to 4 years, 5 to 7 years and 8 to 12 years. This is an artistic competition based on skill.
No element of chance is involved in selecting the winning entries. The judges’ decision is final and no
correspondence will be entered into. The winners will be notified by email and/or phone at the contact
details given on the entry form on or about 20th July 2012. If for any reason the winners do not take their
prize by the time stipulated by the Sponsor, then the prize will be forfeited by that winner, and the Sponsor
will select an alternative winner in accordance with this paragraph.
Prize
The prize for the three winners is a $250 Pumpkin Patch gift card each redeemable for merchandise at any
Pumpkin Patch store in Australia. The prizes will be awarded to the winners’ parents or guardian, with the
intention that the prizes will be enjoyed by the winners. The prizes are not redeemable for cash and
are non-transferable.
General
By entering, entrants agree to: (1) release the Sponsor and its agents from all liability, injuries, loss and/or
damage of any kind arising from their participation in the competition and
the acceptance, possession and
use/misuse of any prize (2) be bound by these terms and conditions in the decisions of the judge(s) and (3) be
contacted by Sponsor by mail and/or telephone/email. By accepting a prize, the winners consent to the use of
their names and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation in all
media worldwide (to the extent not prohibited by law). Entry in this competition deems full acceptance by the
entrant’s parent or guardian of these terms and conditions of entry. The competition is subject to all applicable
legislation. The winners are responsible for all taxes applicable to the acceptance and use of his/her prize.
Privacy
Personal information collected by the Sponsor for the purposes of the competition will only be used in
connection with the competition. Entries will be stored at 439 East Tamaki
Road, East Tamaki, Auckland,
New Zealand. You have rights of access to, and the right to request correction of your personal information.
