1. This competition (the “Promotion”) is conducted by Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Australia Pty Limited (“Universal Sony”) ABN 39 152 425 735 of Level 30, 1 Market Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 (the “Promoter”).
2. The promotion will be administered by Slingshot Digital Ventures Pty Ltd, ACN 150 786 164, of 338 Pitt Street, Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia
3. Entry to the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
4. By entering the Promotion, entrants accept and acknowledge full responsibility for their decision to participate in the Promotion and to take the Prize if they are a winner.
5. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these Terms and Conditions.
6. The Promotion is open to all residents of Australia aged 15 years or over. It is assumed that entrants are 15 years of age or over as they have a registered facebook account and are adhering correctly to the facebook platform terms and conditions. Employees and immediate families of Universal Sony and their associated companies and agents and the immediate families of such employees are not eligible to enter the competition.
7. The promotion runs from 10.00AM AEST 7 June 2012 to 10.00AM AEST 5 July 2012 (“Promotional Period”).

Entry Into The Ultimate Mega Action Awesomeness Promotion

8. There are 4 Prize Pools in the Ultimate Mega Action Awesomeness Promotion (“UMAAP”). Entrants may enter the Promotion at any time during the Promotional Period.
9. Entry into Prize Pool 4 requires entry into Prize Pool 1, 2 and 3.
10. To enter Prize Pool 1, 2 and 3 you must, during the Promotional Period:

11. To enter Prize Pool 4 you must, during the Promotional Period.

12. Entries in each Prize Pool must not be, without limitation:

13. The Promoter may disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct which places the fair and proper conduct of the competition at risk.
14. The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunction of any communications network or any lost, late, delayed, ineligible, incomplete or corrupted entries, however this may happen.
15. If you are under the age of 18 you must obtain the prior permission of your parent or guardian to enter.

16. Prize Pool 1 is open from 10.00AM 7 June 2012 to 12.00AM 14 June 2012.

19. The first fifty (50) valid entrants to correctly answer the Prize Pool 1 question will receive one (1) copy of the film “Safe House”. Each copy of the film “Safe House” has an RRP of AUD$39.95.

Details of Prize Pool 4

40. Prize Pool 4 is open from 12.01AM 28 June 2012 to 12.00AM 5 July 2012.
41. Entry into Prize Pool 4 requires the entrant to be:
j) A user of the facebook platform.
k) A fan of the The Viewing Lounge facebook Timeline (www.facebook.com/TheViewingLounge).
l) Enter an answer to the question of each preceding Prize Pool (1, 2 and 3) in the Prize Pool 4 entry tab in the UMAAP tab. Any answers provided in earlier Prize Pool entries will be automatically entered for the entrant.
42. Prize Pool 4 consists of:
a) Five (5) night’s accommodation in two (2) twin share rooms in a minimum 4 star hotel in Los Angeles, California, USA to the value of up to AUD$300 per night (including any accommodation fees and taxes). The maximum RRP of this prize component is AUD $3000.00.
b) Exclusive airport transfers to/from the hotel/airport (at destination) valued at AU$400.00.
c) An “adventure package” consisting of four (4) Qualifier Ride-Along races at Indy Style Auto Racing. The maximum RRP of this prize component is AUD $516.00.
d) 4 (four) economy tickets to Los Angeles flying Virgin Australia. Each ticket is valued up to AUD$3479.00 per person. The maximum RRP of this prize component is AUD$13916.00.
43. The prize components set out in 42(a) are subject to the following conditions:
a) Winner may be required to present credit card at time of accommodation check in.
b) Prizes are subject to availability, non-transferable and non-exchangeable, must be used on any dates specified in these terms and conditions, and/or the prize provider and are not redeemable for cash unless cash is specified. Specifically, prizes may not be valid during peak times designated by the prize supplier.
c) If a prize winner does not take any element of a prize that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that prize or any part of it.
44. The flights set out in 42(d) are subject to the following conditions:
a) Flights are subject to availability, wait lists will not be entertained.
b) Blackout periods apply. Excludes travel in peak seasons or periods of embargo.
c) Tickets are valid for departure from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane airports to Los Angeles. It is the responsibility of the prize winner(s) to reach their closest departing airport mentioned above at their own expense.
d) Flights are valid for 6 months from the date the flight vouchers are provided. This expiry will not be extended.
e) Once flights have been booked and flight tickets are issued the winner is responsible for any costs associated with subsequent itinerary changes, cancellations, amendments or other administration charges.
f) Changes to flight details will incur the applicable changes fees published on the Virgin Australia Website at the time the change is requested. The fee applies on a per guest per change basis.
g) Virgin Australia’s Terms and Conditions of Carriage apply to all travel on Virgin Australia Group flights.
h) Passengers who do not notify Virgin Australia at least 24 hours prior to departure or do not present themselves at the airport for their flight will forfeit the prize tickets.
i) Frequent flyer mileage is not redeemable with this prize.
j) Tickets/Airway bills for excess baggage are excluded.
k) Tickets are not transferable, refundable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services.
l) Prize is inclusive of airfare taxes which will be covered by Webjet. Prize winners will be expected to pay for airfare taxes at time of booking with a credit card. Total amount of airfare taxes will be refunded upon receipt of payment. Payment of airfare taxes is a legal requirement and the winner will be refunded.
m) Any tickets which remain unused after the expiry date shall be deemed null and void.
n) All passengers (if applicable) must travel together on the same booking in both directions.
o) Entire itinerary must be included in one booking transaction.
p) Prize winners can only travel on Virgin Australia operated aircraft.
45. You are responsible for all expenses and taxes connected to your participation in the Contest and acceptance of the Prize Pool 4 prize, including meals, drinks, laundry charges, activities, incidentals, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs.
46. The Prize Pool 4 prize does not include any travel insurance. It is the responsibility of the winner to purchase travel insurance.
47. In the event it is determined that any criteria under these Rules is not met by the Prize Pool 4 winner, the winner will be forfeited automatically and awarded to another randomly drawn entrant who meets the criteria under these Rules.
48. The Prize Pool 4 prize must be booked by 31 August 2012 and the prize must be consumed by 31 December 2012.
49. The prize may not available during peak times such as public holidays and school holidays and cannot be changed once the booking has been made.
50. There is 1 (one) winner in Prize Pool 4. One (1) valid entrant who correctly answers all three (3) previous questions and enters Prize Pool 4 will be selected at random.
51. If the Prize Pool 4 winner is under the age of 18 as at the date of the draw, a parent/legal guardian must accompany the minor in the participation of the prize.
52. It is the winner’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
53. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices and the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
54. The total RRP of Prize Pool 4 is AUD$17832.00.
55. Winners will be drawn at 12.01PM 5 July 2012 in the offices of Slingshot Digital Ventures, 338 Pitt Street, Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia.
56. Winners will be notified at 12.30PM 5 July 2012 through email provided in the entry process. All winners of prizes valued at over AUD$250.00 will be notified by email and will have their name published in “The Australian” on 16 July 2012.
