Juice Boost trip to Hayman Island my non-winning entry misfired and miscued
The winner on FB Juice Boost later tonite. This is my non-winning entry...put simply, perhaps, I didn't answer the question and consequently
I miscued and my entry went like misfired rocket somewhere in orbit. I would love to b a fly on the wall of these judging panels rooms and listen in
on what they actually want in these entries:-
I doubled my fruit
Heli-golf to Dent Island would suit
Relaxing on Hayman feeling calm
Under a tree like palm
Through gripping pages, my latest novel – I read
A juicy holiday to Hayman Island – a tonic need indeed
Cast my reel out for coral trout
Leave approval Boss – I tout |

dathcart how do you know this is a non-winning entry if they haven't announced the winner yet? It sounds good to me.

Thanks for the encouragement dolphin 12 chin up
This may all sound like sour grapes by me just a little frustrating I can't seal the deal and you never know where you finish in the final
placing's. Few years back I entered a Natures own / Wimbledon Final comp 50WOL and the winner was a lottos entrant. I u2u the winning entrant just
asking about their entry. The lottoer mentioned doin a ditty (poem) about past Wimbledon greats. I did the same about Agassi and Sampras (along the
same lines). I got 3pack tin of Wilson balls and the winner got a all expenses paid trip to see mens and womens final worth eleven grand. Like a
racehorse in a blanket finish at the winning post but just falling short of first placing. I'm off to the comp whinging corner now to vent my spleen.
signing off dathcart the incredible sulk

I have been in the top 5 for a $40k motorbike, top 20 for a $40k car and runners up in countless holiday competitions and they are just the ones I know about.
Sometimes we all feel like we will always be "just" runners up...but I have faith that one day mine will be the entry that tickles the judges fancy
the most and I will win an amazing prize too. (and I love everything I have won I would just love to one day win a MAJOR prize )

I'm great at being runner up and just missing out on trips etc and scoring a movie ticket or some other minor prize. But I'm hanging in there. One
day it will be reversed! Great entry by the way. Your day will come and hopefully soon.

The winning entry must have been a pearler because your entry is brilliant.
I really do appreciate it when people share their entries, it makes you realise how hard it must be to judge them.
Sometimes I do wonder if they can smell a comper a mile away. I'm starting to get to the point where I don't care if I win cause I'm just happy
that I had a crack at it.
