I found this about 2 weeks ago SO ANNOYING! I hate it when they do that!
I don't normally buy too many biscuits but bought it just for the offer than got home and realised it doesn't start for ages.

Just a reminder this starts today. Got my first claim, thanks. Sucks a bit that you have to send in barcodes, as now I have to open all three biscuits at once.

And you need to send in your receipt, so separate your other comp purchases if you have them.

1. Instructions on how to claim and the gifts form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer.

2. Claims are only open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.

3. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to claim. 6. To be eligible to claim, individuals must purchase at least three (3) specially-marked Arnott’s plain biscuit products in a single transaction during the applicable Purchase Period (“Qualifying Purchase”). For the sake of clarity, Australian residents must make a Qualifying Purchase during the AU Purchase Period and New Zealand residents must make a Qualifying Purchase during the NZ Purchase Period.

7. To claim, individuals must then complete the following steps during the applicable Claim Period:

(a) visit www.arnottsmagpromo.com and follow the prompts to the promotional claim page;

(b) input the requested details (including their full name, telephone number, a valid email address, the full purchase receipt number for the Qualifying Purchase, and the last five (5) digits of the barcode number of each of the three (3) specially-marked Arnott’s plain biscuit products purchased); and

(c) submit the fully completed claim form so it is received during the applicable Claim Period. For the sake of clarity, Australian residents must submit a claim during the AU Claim Period and New Zealand residents must submit a claim during the NZ Claim Period.

Claimants will be notified immediately by email as to whether or not their claim was successful.

8. Claimants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all successful claims as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all claims when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of a claimant’s claims and forfeiture of any right to a gift. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase, that at least three (3) specially-marked Arnott’s plain biscuit products were purchased, and that the purchase was made during the Purchase Period but prior to submission of the relevant claim.

9. Incomplete or indecipherable claims will be deemed invalid.

10. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database and not at the time of transmission by the claimant.

11. Multiple claims permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) claim permitted per Qualifying Purchase (i.e. per three (3) specially-marked Arnott’s plain biscuit products purchased in a single transaction), up to a maximum of three (3) claims permitted per transaction; (b) each claim must be submitted separately and in accordance with claim requirements; and (c) a maximum of three (3) claims permitted per household. For the sake of clarity, individuals that purchase at least six (6) specially-marked Arnott’s plain biscuit products purchased in a single transaction are eligible to submit two (2) claims, and individuals that purchase at least nine (9) specially-marked Arnott’s plain biscuit products purchased in a single transaction are eligible to submit three (3) claims. No more than three (3) claims may be submitted per transaction, regardless of the number of specially-marked Arnott’s plain biscuit products purchased in excess of nine (9) in that transaction.

12. The first nine hundred (900) valid claims received from Australian residents each week of the AU Claim Period (8 weeks in total) will each win their choice of one (1) of the following magazine subscription gifts:
•a three (3) month subscription for Australian Women’s Weekly magazine, valued at AU$20.70; OR
•a three (3) month subscription for Australian House & Garden magazine, valued at AU$23.85; OR
•a three (3) month subscription for Australian Gourmet Traveller magazine, valued at AU$26.85.

13. The first one hundred (100) valid claims received from New Zealand residents each week of the NZ Claim Period (8 weeks in total) will each win their choice of one (1) of the following magazine subscription gifts:
•a three (3) month subscription for Australian Women’s Weekly NZ magazine, valued at NZ$23.40; OR
•a three (3) month subscription for Your House & Garden magazine, valued at NZ$23.85; OR
•a three (3) month subscription for Taste magazine, valued at NZ$22.50.

14. Total gift pool value in Australia is up to AU$193,320. Total gift pool value in New Zealand is up to NZ$19,080.

15. Successful claimants must allow up to 6 to 8 weeks for the delivery of the first issue of the selected magazine to the mailing address (as nominated by the claimant on the online claim form) from the end of the applicable Claim Period.

16. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

17. The gift is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual gift and service providers.

18. If any gift is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the gift with a gift to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

19. Gifts are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

20. Claimants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a successful claimant (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

21. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any claimant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

22. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the claimant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.

23. The use of any automated software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows a claimant to automatically claim repeatedly is prohibited and will render all claims submitted by that claimant invalid.

24. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in New Zealand or the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.

25. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in gift value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (f) taking and/or use of a gift.

26. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, gift suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Claim is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the claimant. Claimants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All claims become the property of the Promoter.

27. The laws of Australia apply to this promotion to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

Can you buy the Arnotts from any store, servo etc or does it have to be from a particular Supermarket/Store? Thanx in advance. These will great for Christmas presents :)

I bought all milk coffee biscuits (that's all they had in Foodland in regards to promo packs), so I might have to look for a recipe where I can do a slice or something that uses the biscuits as a base.

doesn't say in the terms, I think anywhere that you find the promo packs, but I believe you need to buy the three in the one transaction.

Did you get a message that said that when you tried to enter?
I entered this afternoon and got a message telling me to respond to an email, which I haven't received yet.

Can someone who's successfully claimed please share the procedure.

When I entered this morning I got a message on screen with an address I've got to send the barcodes and receipt to, then once they've received them they'll send an email to reply to.... Hope that makes sense....

Thanks FiFi73 that does help. I've now sent them a message to find out what's going on. If you try to enter now it tells you they've all gone. But when I entered it said they would send me an email with details. I still don't have that email.

They send an email once they verify your entry ie when they've received your receipt and barcodes. That's how I read it.

They didn't ask for my receipt and barcodes. They also didn't ask which magazine I wanted.

I did get a response to my email. They were very efficient in that regard, however their response was short and sweet:
Valid claims will receive their magazine subscriptions within 7 days.

I got the same, so I've bundled everything into an envelope ready to be posted.....
Maybe when the have our proof of purchase and they email us back, that's when we'd get to choose which magazine subscription we'd like??
