How do I stop all the fluff going everywhere with my new towels please
posted 7-2-2014 @ 03:09 AM www

I don't know. I've got blue fluff in hairbrushes, floor, everywhere. Even after washing a couple of times it still happens.

Add Bi-carb soda with the powder and vinegar in the final rinse, thats what shannon Lush says, I tried it once it worked but it depends on the quality of the towel the higher the quality the more fluff!

After they dry from the wash ASharpe said to try, put them in the dryer on low, or cool down & that will blow out more fluff, repeat next few washes if necessary.

Yes I agree put them in the dryer as it draws the fluff into the filter.

It might be worth a couple of trips to the laundromat to use their dryers. Hopefully there is one nearby.
in my experience, tumble drying got rid of a LOT of 'towel fluff'

After months of washing new towels the fluff is still driving me crazy. Tried the bi-carb and vinegar that some of you suggested on the weekend but it didn't help (thank you anyway). Am going to try the dryers at a laundromat this weekend. Fingers crossed.

In the dryer - never have any fluff at all, ever.
