MOLLY’S GAME COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Promoter is Internet Services Australia 1 Pty Limited (ABN 50 152 631 082, trading as “THE ICONIC”) of Level 18, 338 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW
2000.
Instructions on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and
Conditions.
Entry into the Competition is free (excluding internet charges) and open to residents of Australia and New Zealand aged 18 years and over. Employees
of the Promoter, associated partners and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
The Competition commences at 7:00am 23rd January 2018 and ends at 11:59pm (AEDT) on 13th February 2018. To enter the promotion, entrants must:
visit theiconic.com.au;
visit the MOLLY GAME competition page at http://www.theiconic.com.au/mollys-game/; and
in 25 words or less explain if you could live it up like Molly in either NYC or LA, which city would you choose and why?
One entry per person permitted.
This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on its literary and creative
merit of the answer to the question provided and suitability to the Competition.
Entrants warrant to the Promoter that their entries submitted are original and independent work of the entrants that do not infringe the rights of any
third parties. If the entries or any part of the entries were provided by a third party, the entrants warrant that they have obtained the relevant
copyright permission to submit the entries for the purposes of this Competition. Entries must not be offensive, defamatory or racist. Any entry which
the Promoter deems inappropriate will be invalid. Entrants agree to indemnify the Promoter against all claims and costs by third parties arising from
a breach of the warranty set out in this condition.
One (1) best valid entry will be selected at 12:00pm (AEDT) on 15th February 2018 by the Promoter at Level 18, 338 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000. The
Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered.
The Winner will receive a prize pack, comprising (all value is denominated in Australian dollars):
2 x economy return flights to New York City or Los Angeles from nearest capital city in Australia or New Zealand valued at $5000
5 x nights accommodation in 4 star accommodation valued at $3000
$1000 AUD travel money card for transfers and other expenses
Dinner for two at amazing/iconic LA or NYC eatery valued at $500
$1000 voucher that can be used for shopping on THE ICONIC
The Prize is valid for travel from 28 February 2018 to 31st January 2019 and is subject to booking and flight availability.
The Prize cannot be taken during Australian school holidays, public holidays or other peak periods as advised by Entertainment One Australia from time
to time.
Prize cannot be taken during USA public holidays or other peak periods as advised by Entertainment One Australia from time to time.
The Prize must be booked by 12th May 2018 (90 days from competition end date)
The Travel Prize is valid for two adults (aged 18 years or older), and one traveller must be the Prize Winner. The Prize Winner and their chosen
guest MUST travel together and share the same itinerary. Both the Prize Winner and their chosen guest are responsible for obtaining all passports,
visas and other travel documents required to enable them to take this prize.
The Prize Winner must take the Prize as described in these Terms and Conditions.
Flights to and from the USA must be taken from nearest capital city in Australia or New Zealand. Domestic flights are not included in this prize.
The Prize cannot be transferred to other persons, be redeemed for cash or altered/amended in any way that differs from the details outlined in these
Promotion terms.
Prize fulfilment of major prize will be handled directly by Entertainment One Australia.
The winner and his/her travel companions must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together from their nearest capital city
in Australia.
Frequent flyer points will not be awarded and do not form part of the prize.
Prize does not include travel insurance. Travel insurance will be the sole responsibility of the winner and guest. eOne Australia will not be liable
for any injury, loss, theft or damage to person or possessions.
No airport transfers in Australia or United States are included.
Additional spending money, government surcharges, departure tax, meals (unless stated), optional activities, additional taxes, travel insurance,
transfers, items of a personal nature, visas, inoculations, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs not mentioned in prize inclusions above are
NOT included.
Winner and their guest must be eligible to travel to the US.
The winner and his/her travel companion must be 18+ years and are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any requisite visas,
vaccinations and travel documentation.
The winner may be required to present their credit card at check in at any hotel accommodation.
All air travel must be on the services provided as part of the prize.
Unless expressly stated within these Conditions of Entry regarding the prize, all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner. In the event
that for any reason a prize winner does not take the whole or part of a prize within the time stipulated by the Promoter then that whole or part of
the prize will be forfeited by the prize winner. Neither cash nor other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of the forfeited whole or part
of the prize.
Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
Travel itinerary will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
All other expenses and any additional spending money and the costs of flights, meals, insurance, taxes, extra accommodation, items of a personal
nature, travel to and from the departure point (which shall be the capital city in the state of the Prize Winner), additions to stipulated itineraries
and offered flights and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the Prize Winner and their chosen guest.
The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. It is the sole responsibility of
the Prize Winner and their chosen guest to first check with all government travel advisory information regarding the safety and situation of the
destination of their chosen destination/event.
In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, the Prize Winner does not take a component of the Prize, that component will be forfeited and cash will
not be awarded in lieu of that component of the Prize.
The Winners will be notified via email that they have used to submit their entry by 12:00pm (AEDT) on 16th February 2018. The Winners will have 10
business days to respond or will be deemed to have forfeited their prize. Should this occur, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to
other entrants.
Should the prize be unclaimed a new winner will be selected at 12:00pm (AEDT) on 28th February 2018 at Level 18, 338 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000, and
the new winner will be notified by email by 3:00pm (AEDT) on 28th February 2018.
The prices are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash. The prizes must be taken as offered.
No modifications or exchanges will be possible. The clause does not set out to limit any rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
The Promoter reserves the right to resolve any discrepancies, disputes or otherwise unforeseen circumstances as they deem fit and the Promoter’s
decision will be final and binding upon all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to change or
alter these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for
and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct,
indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the
Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged
or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation
in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the internet or
telecommunications services. Automated entry software or spamming that allows an entrant to enter multiple times is prohibited and all entries
submitted by that entrant will be deemed invalid.
If the Competition is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the
control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter
reserve the right (subject to any applicable law) in their sole discretion to cancel the Competition or disqualify any individual who has tampered
with the entry process.
The Promoter collect your information to include you in this Competition. Use of your personal information is governed by the Promoter’s privacy
policy at www.theiconic.com.au/privacy-policy
All entries become the property of the Promoter who may use the entrants’ names and entries for any commercial purpose, including future promotion
marketing and publicity purposes. Winners in this Competition agree that their identities may be disclosed in winner announcement and promotional
materials.
