The Promoters are the Herald & Weekly Times Pty Ltd (ABN 49 004 113 937) of 40 City Road Southbank, Victoria 3006 and Melbourne Heart Syndicate
(ABN 39 128 569 264) of 509 Bridge Road, Richmond, Victoria.
Instructions on how to enter and the prizes form part of the conditions of entry.
Entry is only open to residents of Australia. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoters, directors, management,
related companies, retailers, suppliers and their agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible.
To enter, readers must go to www.heraldsun.com.au/nametheteam submit their team name and enter their name, address, phone number, age, gender and email address.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an
entry, which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for late, lost or misdirected
entries for this promotion. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Service Provider and not at the time of transmission by
the entrant.

The first stage of the competition will open at 12.01am Saturday October 3, 2009 and close at 11:59 pm on Friday October 9, 2009.
Upon completion of the first stage the top four (4) entries as judged by the promoters will be selected.
The second stage of the promotion will see the shortlist of team names listed in the Herald Sun from Monday October 19 whereupon readers will be
invited to vote for their favourite team name at www.heraldsun.com.au/nametheteam
Voting for the second stage of the promotion will be open from 12.01am Monday October 19 – 11.59pm on Friday October 23.
The team name will be determined by a combination of the public voting result of this competition together with the votes of the Melbourne Heart
Syndicate (MHS) board. Each of the two votes will carry an equal 50% weighting.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner of the competition will be the person who submits the selected team name and they will win the following: 1. Founding family membership for
the 2010-2011 season. 2. Framed and mounted team Jersey signed by the captain and coach. 3. Merchandise pack for a family of 4 including team jersey,
polo shirt, scarf, t-shirt and cap.
Total prize pool is valued at $2500.00.
In the event that more than one person submits the same name, the winner will be the first person to submit that name.
The winner will be notified by phone by telephone before noon on Friday October 30, 2009.
The prize is strictly as stated above. The prize is not transferrable, exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Any additional charges including
travel, spending money and other incidentals are the responsibility of the winners.
To the full extent permitted by the law, the Promoters exclude liability for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever suffered or sustained (including,
but not limited to direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, loss of opportunity revenue or profit) arising directly or indirectly
out of or in connection with this promotion, including attendance at the venue.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility if the event is cancelled, or the date is re-scheduled for any reason whatsoever. If the prize or any part of
the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoters’ control, the Promoter will endeavour but is not obliged to provide a substitute prize
of equivalent value.
HWT collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not
participate in the promotion. HWT may share entrants’ information with persons or entities assisting in the conduct of the promotion and with
companies who are prize partners. HWT for publicity purposes may use the name and if applicable, image of the winners and persons accompanying the

Just tried entering twice (two different names) and it came up with
"Sorry, but it looks like you've already entered the maximum number of times."
Huh??
Oh well!
