A little more about me
Have already said hello in Newbie Neighbourhood, but thought I'd introduce myself a little better.
I'm 30 a stay at home mummy with 3 babies, a boy 4 (starting prep in 2010), a boy 2.5 (terrible two) and my baby girl 9mths!
I love being a mum - but I'm a lousy house keeper (don't get me wrong the house is tidy)!! I hate having just housework and kids to think about, so
that's why I love lottos, it gives me something else to do each day, and something to get excited about, and the boys have been loving the prizes I
have been winning them so far!!
Just wondering if there are other stay at home mums who feel this way too?
Also I have been a member of other mummy forums before but seem to have trouble making forum buddies, I wonder if its the way I come across in my
posts, or sometimes when I try to type something I think is funny or helpful it doesn't read the same way as if I spoke it??? Do you know what I
mean??
Anyway I'm loving this website and hope to get to know some of you better in 2010.

welcome to lottos mummanik
i have been a member of lottos for just over a year and can't remember life without it! i'm 35, and have two children, a son who is 4 in July, and a daughter who is 3 in August. i do stay at home during the day but have a
casual night fill job and work when hubby is not working (he's a chef and mainly works nights), so i work 1 - 3 nights each week.
i have been entering comps for many, many years and was rapt when i found lottos. i, too, love waking each morning, wondering what the post may
bring. have been able to spoil hubby and the kids a little with my wins, and am hoping for some more great wins in 2010.
p.s. i too, hate housework, and would much rather be on the computer
but don't tell hubby that!
i also like being able to chat to other like-minded people like myself who are into comping, and also reading the off-topic discussions on a wide variety of different things - it's like another whole social
circle! and there's always great advice to be had.

Thanks for the welcome tsedge,
Its good to know I'm not the only "housewife" spending precious cleaning time on the computer!! Hopefully it will pay off with some extra special
times for my family like our recent win of a family pass to dreamworld!!
Hope you had a good new years, mine was pretty good out at friends until 1am with my 3 kids, my baby slept the whole night and my boys swam in the new
year so they loved it, just wish they slept in past 6.30am!!!

Hi Guys,
Am in the same boat here!! Stay at home Mum with a one and two year old.
Comping is my hobby which I really enjoy although usually dont get enough time for!!
Would love to have more time to devote to it but between cleaning (house on the market and several home opens) and looking after the bubbas there is
not much time left!
Good Luck to you all!! May we all have some great wins in 2010!!

Hi, I'm a stay at home mum (we are the "sahm" club), mummanik we have so much in common!!! I have 3 boys, age 6 going into grade 1, age 4 (still
going thru terrible 2's) and age 2. (so 1 year ago i was exactly like you!) It is hard with little ones! Have just started comping in Nov, 2 minor wins and waiting!! It just takes your mind off other
things and is an interest you can fit around kids fighting, kids wanting food and cleaning up after ....kids!!!
Look forward to more chats, love fimaree

I'm a SAHM too and yes most of my day is consumed by Lottos, the house is never quite the way I'd like it, but hey washing the floor is not going to
win me a holiday, that is of course if there is no floor detergent competitions!

Joined lottos in nov after winning a really big prize in a comp (which I am still trying to organize!_mucking me around a bit)and am so totally
addicted-maybe even a little obsessed, check emails so many times a day, stalk the postie when he comes!love this gives me something I like doing
through the day(other than playing with the kids!)

I a SAHM too. Have a 5 year old off to Prep and a 3 year old who will have 2 days at kindy. I thought those days would be for shopping, cleaning,
gym and getting my scrap books in order, not to mention the garden sorted and photos on computer culled BUT I can see I will be on the computer.
I only started lottos on the 29th Dec and tend to go on more at night. Get the kids to bed by 7pm. Have started to go on during the day when things
a little quieter though. Girls getting used to me on it now and saying we are going to win ?
Just hope the wins start to come - sick of my husband saying sarcastic "won something"
good luck to you all

Hi guys, another mother here, (as the name indicates). I am also a SAHM although my kids are a little older: 6, 8, and 13. I'm hoping to win enough
so hubby doesn't get ideas about sending me back to work. I'd just be
working to pay for their childcare fees anyway, coz there's no way I'd trust Miss 13 with her younger siblings for more than an hour (and that hour
is only when I pay her so she won't kill them).
I joined in November and have had a few nice wins, one of them from a WOL (so excited, it wasn't just random - I earned it). Absolutely loving lottos
and can't wait to get the kids back to school so I'll have more time for comping. Although, having said that, I've been devoting quite a lot of hours to the Kkash comp. I recognise pantha from there
(HI).
And housework is a four letter word. Nobody can convince me otherwise!
Good luck all!!!

Hi all,
am a SAHM as well, one little man aged 20 months, hoping to have another this year if we are lucky.
When he hit about 14 months I thought whats this terrible twos, how come no one said it actually starts at one and just gets worse at two have just moved house so his life has been turned upside down right now but
hopefully things will settle down too. started in nov and have had a few nice wins also, hopefully hubby will stop telling me to get off the computer
now I find too this is a fun way to spend some time each day just for ME,
i'd rather do this at night when everythings done rather than sit in front of tv, there's nothing interesting on right now anyway, although cannot
wait until Grey's Anatomy is back on

Hi Ladies
I am another newbie. I finally joined on Boxing day after meaning to do it for soooooo long. My Dad used to be on here a few years ago and was always
telling me to give it a go. He won a few holidays and lots of little stuff. I've had three little wins so far and can tell this is going to be a
serious addiction! But that's okay - I'm an all or nothing type of girl . Might as well give it my all.
I have three kids aged 8, 6 & 3 years and have been a SAHM since 2001. Last year I went back to uni to study primary teaching and am doing a 3/4
load. So I don't know how I will fit in comping when the semester starts
again? At the moment I jump on lottos whenever I can. I really enjoy it and can't wait to get to know everyone better.
Housework gets done when it gets done. There are prizes to be won!!!!!!
mummanik - I have a parenting forum that I have been visiting for years and I still don't 'know' many people. Some people seem to have thousands of
posts and I guess get to know each other well. I tend to read, but not always post. So even though people don't respond doesn't mean they don't
feel friendly towards you!
fimaree - My daughter is 3 and it is turning out to be so much harder than 2. She is a nightmare at the moment and I don't see it ending any time
soon. I hate wishing her life away but I just want to be through with the tantrums. Not easy is it?

Wow, so many responses!!! I have just got back from a weeks holiday which was great - I checked into lottos every few days but was unable to really
enter many comps, so now need to do catch up!!!
I dont know if Im crazy but I just joined the ranks of Tupperware Consultant, sounds pretty easy and only have to do a max of 1 party a month, so
hopefully it will be more like an outing rather than work. Anyone sold Tupperware before???
Anyway great to get to know a few of you other SAHM!!!
