Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions. By entering, entrants accept these conditions.
Entry is open only to Australian residents aged 18 years or over except directors, management, officers and employees (and the immediate families of directors, management, officers and employees) of the Promoter or of the agencies, outlets or companies associated with this competition.
The competition begins at 12.01am (AEDST) on 01/11/08 and closes at 11.59pm (AEDST) on 30/12/08 (Competition Period).
There are two elements of this competition: the major draw element and the bonus draw element. To enter a major draw, consumers must, during the Competition Period:
purchase any bottle of Wolf Blass Red Label or Yellow Label wine (Eligible Purchase) from a participating liquor outlet (Outlet) for off premise consumption; and
send an SMS (maximum cost 55 cents (inc GST)) from their mobile phone to 199 25277 stating in one message, and in the following order the last 5 digits of their Eligible Purchase barcode, their full name and their post code; OR

Consumers are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the Internet.
To enter a bonus draw, consumers must, during the Competition Period, either:
enter the major draw in accordance with paragraph 4(a)(A) or 4(a)(B) using an Eligible Purchase of any Wolf Blass Yellow Label variety; or
enter the major draw via the Website in accordance with paragraph 4(a)(B) and follow the prompts on the online entry form to refer a friend to this competition. Entrants must ensure that they only refer friends who have given them their implied or express consent to receive emails in relation to this competition
Computer generated entries will not be accepted. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter's database, not time of transmission by the entrant. Entrants who enter using multiple phone numbers or email addresses will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute regarding a prize awarded to an SMS entry, the prize will be awarded to the owner of the relevant mobile phone. SMS entry is only open to consumers with an SMS compatible mobile phone connected to a service provider which permits text messaging to the promotional SMS number. Consumers should check with their network service provider to see if their mobile phone is able to send an SMS to the promotional number.
Consumers may enter the major draw up to 12 times per person per day, provided that each entry is based on a separate Eligible Purchase and a separate SMS or online entry in accordance with paragraph 4. Entrants must retain their receipt/s to verify each entry. Failure to provide this/these to the Promoter upon request may, at the Promoter's discretion, result in an invalid entry (and, at the Promoter's discretion, in all of the entrant's entries being invalid). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over telephone communications, the Internet, networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.
Each successful entrant will receive a return SMS or online notification (depending on their entry method) confirming their successful entry into the competition. By entering this competition, entrants consent to receiving this electronic message and consent to the message not containing a functional unsubscribe facility.
There will be 6 major draws and 6 bonus draws conducted. Each draw will take place at 2pm (AEDST) at 5th Finger, Level 7, Tower Building, Australia Square, 264 George St, Sydney NSW 2000 on the dates below. In each draw, the first valid entry randomly drawn from all entries received within the relevant entry period will win a prize. Winners drawn in the major draws will win a major prize and winners drawn in the bonus draws will win a bonus prize.
The major prize is $20,000 awarded in the form of a bank cheque. There are 6 major prizes to be won. The major prize pool is valued at $120,000.
The bonus prize is a Vintec Wine Storage Cabinet (model V30SG) valued at $699 plus Wolf Blass wine (as selected by the Promoter) valued at $500 (if a bonus prize winner is a NSW resident, the wine included in the bonus prize will be equal to less than 20 litres in total). There are 6 bonus prizes to be won. The bonus prize pool is valued at $7,194.
The total prize pool is valued at $127,194 (inc GST).
The winners will be notified by phone and in writing and will have their name and state/territory of residence published in The Australian on 12/12/08 or 09/01/09. By entering, each entrant requests that his or her full address not be published.
If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, that entry will be discarded and a new winner of that prize will be determined by drawing a further valid entry in accordance with paragraph 9. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Prize winners must, at the Promoter's request, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of any prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and image in promotional material.
The Promoter may require winners to provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter's discretion.
The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the competition or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and, in the case of bonus prizes, cannot be redeemed for cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. Where a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute for that prize another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoter, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory, where required.
If a prize is not accepted or claimed within 3 months of the final draw date, the relevant winner's entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to conduct such further draws on 07/04/09 at the same time and the same location as the original draws as are necessary to distribute the prize/s, subject to any written directions given by any relevant authority.
The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
Without limiting paragraph 20, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage or delay in transit to prizes.
If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory, where required. If, through computer error or otherwise, multiple entrants are selected as winners of the same prize, the first such entrant (and only the first such entrant) to claim the prize and verify their entry in accordance with the Promoter's instructions will win the prize.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of this competition results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office's stated view that where the parties are at arm's length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.

Anybody seen bottles with neck tags in Brisbane. I have tried thirsty camel, bws and dan murphy.
I think just the receipt needs to be kept. Do you think the entries roll over? the way I read it, it sounds like you have to purchase for each week?

I rang the promoter they said participating outlets include IGA, Celebrations and Thirsty Camel stores - only where promotional material for the comp is displayed. Also in small liquour outlets.
Bugger! I bought mine from woolworths liquor!
I sent an email a few days ago asking if entries roll over & where participating outlets are. This is my reply..
No entries do not roll over from one week to the next. Entrants are required to make a purchase for each draw which they enter into.
The Wolf Blass products can be purchased from any liquor outlet. The promotional entry materials will only be displayed in selected independent retailers however entries using participating products are valid no matter where the wine was purchased.
