INHOUSE REGISTRATION COMPETITION DECEMBER 2008
Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions of entry.
Entry is open to residents of Australia. Employees of Sydney Opera House and their immediate families, associated agencies of this promotion and companies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter the promotion.
Existing Sydney Opera House e-Newsletter (Inhouse) subscribers are not eligible to enter.
To enter, the participants must register for Inhouse between Thursday 4th and 31st December 2008.
The prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable to any other person.
Competition commencement date is Thursday 4th December 2008. Entries close Wednesday 31st December 2008.
The CRM Marketing Specialist at Sydney Opera House will draw the winner on Monday 5th January 2009 at 4pm (EST). The draw will take place at Level 3, Customs House, Alfred Street Circular Quay, NSW, Australia. The winner will be notified by e-mail or telephone and published on the Sydney Opera House website by Friday 9th January 2009.
The first valid entry drawn will win a 12 Month VIP pass which entitles the winner to the following every month in 2009:
Tickets (x2) to a performance at Sydney Opera House (Total value on tickets for the year must not exceed $2,400)
Free parking (Total value of parking for the year must not exceed $420)
Interval drinks (Total value of interval drinks for the year must not exceed $240)
Total Prize valued at $AUD3,060. Any change in the value of the prize occurring between the publishing of these Conditions and the date the prize is claimed not the responsibility of the promoters.
Prize will be sent via standard post or if the performance is within 10 days, tickets will be held for collection at the Box Office under the winnerís name.
Data will be collected automatically from all Inhouse registration between nominated dates and will be retrieved by the Online Marketing Coordinator, of Sydney Opera House, from the ticketing database.
At the conclusion of the competition date all data collated from successful entries into the competition will be placed in one barrel and one entry will be pulled out. The person drawn will win the prize listed in point 7.
The promoterís decision in relation to any aspects of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into.
The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any other prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter and their associated agencies, and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit.
In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the Prize.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to State Regulation.
