Rise of the Argonauts is the new game from Codemasters, and Liquid Entertainment for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. To celebrate its release we have 10 copies of the game to give away on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in this competition!

Rise of the Argonauts is a new style of Role Playing game from the Liquid Entertainment, the makers of Dragonshard, a Dungeons and Dragons title for PC. ROTA is a Role Playing game but it contains action elements in the form of real time combat. Its ?300? style ?hack-n-slash? mechanics are married with the RPG elements to create a new style of game that will appeal to fans of both styles of genres. Players can take to battle with the main character, Jason, and use 4 different types of melee weapons while building up their attributes by dedicating their victories and general behaviour to the various Gods of Greek mythology. These attributes then go on to affect the mechanics of combat; unlocking new moves and increasing abilities, in typical RPG style.

Using the Unreal engine, Rise of the Argonauts looks very solid on all platforms and features copious amounts of blood, decapitations and the like ? as you?d expect from a game that?s very reminiscent of the recently released movie ?300?.
