Kibby - 13-11-2008 @ 07:54 AM

ohhh is it as good as the shop ones and easy to make?

munchkin - 13-11-2008 @ 08:06 AM

I'm still on a learning curve with getting it just right. The dodgy bit is getting it at the right amount of thickness (not runny, not too set like icecream). But I am more then pleased with the texture of icecream, from the basic recipe I've used.

Still experimenting, and just straight yoghurt churned is really really good. And at least healthy. But can't freeze that like icecream. I just put the amount I know I'll eat straight away. Only takes 20 minutes to make to soft serve consistency.

I am going to buy an extra bowl for the freezer though, as it takes at least 12 hours for the bowl to be cold enough to use again.
