HOW TO ENTER

Just place a bet of $20 or more on any Hong Kong race between Saturday December 13th and Saturday January 10th using your TAB account.

The more bets of $20 or more you have on Hong Kong racing, the greater your chances of winning!

On Monday 12th January, one lucky winner will be randomly drawn and will win the trip of a lifetime to Hong Kong!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. General Entry

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. By entering and/or participating in the promotion ("Promotion"), each participant ("Participant") fully and unconditionally agrees and acknowledges that these Conditions of Entry and the decision of the Promoter on all matters relating to this Promotion is final and binding.

Entry is open to all Current TAB NSW and TAB VIC account holders, including any new accounts that are opened during the term of the Promotion (an "Eligible Participant").

Directors, officers and employees of (and contractors to) the Promoter and its related companies and their immediate family are not eligible to participate in the competition. "immediate families" means a spouse (including de facto), parent, sibling, child, grandparent, grandchild, or parent in law and includes stepparents and stepchildren and half siblings.

All Participants consent to the publication of their name and suburb of residence (however their full address will not be published) and agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities as requested by the Promoter.

Any entry that fails to provide all required information may be disqualified. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for incomplete, late or misdirected entries, or entries received through impermissible or illegitimate channels or for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which is not made in accordance with the terms of these Conditions of Entry or who does not abide by the website Conditions of Entry.

2. Term of Promotion

The Promotion period commences at 6:00 AM AEST on Saturday 13th December 2008 and ends at 11.59 PM AEST on Saturday 10th January 2009 ("Promotion Period").

3. How to Enter

To enter the Promotion, an Eligible Participant must place a bet to the value of $20 or more on any Hong Kong Race during the Promotional Period using their VIC or NSW TAB account. Every individual bet of $20 or more placed during the Promotional Period using their VIC or NSW TAB account, will earn the Eligible Participant one entry in the prize draws.

Participant's Account Bets may be made at TAB outlets, Internet, telephone, Sky Racing Active or tab.mobi.

TABCORP reserves the right to disqualify any entry if that entry is not made in accordance with the terms of these Conditions of Entry.

4. Selection of Winners

The winner will be randomly selected using a random number generator on Monday 12th January, 2009 at 10.00 a.m. AEST at TABCORP's New South Wales Office located at 495 Harris Street, Ultimo, NSW 2007.

The winner will be notified by phone and in writing. Prize winner's details will also be published on www.tab.com.au and in the Australian on Friday 16th January 2009.

5. Prizes

The major prize is a trip for two to Hong Kong departing on Tuesday 10th February and returning to Australia on Tuesday 17th February, 2009.

The prize includes:

* Return airport / hotel coach transfers
* Return hotel / racecourse transfers
* Accommodation on a twin share basis at Inter Continental Grand Stanford HK
* Dining for two people on Wednesday, 11 February 2009 at the Visitors Box B801, 8/F Happy Valley Stand,
Happy Valley Racecourse.
* Dining for two people on Sunday, 15 February 2009 at the Visitors Box F632, 6/F Grandstand II, Sha Tin Racecourse.
* Orientation tour of Hong Kong on Day 2
* Victoria Harbour Cruise on Day 4
* Breakfast Daily
* Porterage
* Airline fuel surcharges & departure taxes
* AU$1,000 cash spending money ($500 each person)

All other costs associated with the prize, including but not limited to any meals (not specified), taxes, insurance, travel to and from participants' home and the nominated airports and other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner. The winners and travelling companions are responsible for ensuring that they have all necessary documents to travel to Hong Kong (including a current passport and any visa that may be required).

The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. Prize values are GST inclusive, are in Australian dollars and are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing.

The prize can be transferred to another adult.

The prize must be taken on the dates specified only and participants must have a valid passport at the time of travel with a minimum of 6 months validity.

In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the Prize.

6. Tax Statement

Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of the winner receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. TABCORP accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial and tax advice should be sought.

7. Exclusion of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, TABCORP is not liable for any loss, including, but not limited to, direct, consequential (including economic) or indirect loss or any loss of profits, by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by TABCORP or their servants or agents, in connection with this Promotion or the arrangement for supply, or the supply or failure to supply, of any goods or services by any person to a Participant or a prize winner.

Nothing in these Conditions of Entry affect, nor is intended to affect, any rights that a Participant might have that are not able to be excluded under applicable Australian consumer protection laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of TABCORP or its servants or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the supplying of the relevant goods or services again.

8. General Conditions

(a) TABCORP, its employees, officers, agents, and its parent companies and subsidiaries are not responsible for and shall not be liable for:

(i) any condition caused by events beyond the control of TABCORP that may cause the game to be disrupted or corrupted;

(ii) any injuries, losses (including, without limitation, loss of profits), or damages of any kind (even where resulting from negligence of TABCORP or any other person) caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize, or from participation in the game or downloading material from the website; or

(iii) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Promotion.

(b) TABCORP reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Promotion should virus, bugs, unauthorised human intervention, or other causes beyond the control of TABCORP, in its sole opinion, corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of the game or to disqualify any Participant who engages in offensive, illegal or objectionable conduct. TABCORP reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process including but not limited to, techniques designed to avoid payment of call costs, or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.

The Promoter also reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of age, identity or proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address.

(c) If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by any relevant government or regulatory authority, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.

(d) In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to State Regulation.

(e) Programming and other quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these conditions of entry, all valid prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured. All entries become the property of TABCORP. The information Participants provide will be used by TABCORP for the purpose of conducting this Promotion. TABCORP may disclose Participants' personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this Promotion or communicating with Participants.

(f) By entering the Promotion, Participants consent to their personal information being collected, used and disclosed by the Promoter, its agents, affiliates, related business companies, other companies associated with this promotion, and business partners for any promotional activities, including the Participant's personal participation in reasonable promotional activities as requested by the Promoter, any marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the Participant. The Participant's consent includes authorising the Promoter, its agents, affiliates, related business companies, other companies associated with this promotion and business partners to send the Participant future electronic messages including but not limited to, SMS, MMS, and email regarding any promotional, marketing and publicity activities.

(g) Participants' personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners' names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at its address set out below.

(h) Decisions of the management of the Promoter are final. No correspondence will be entered into.

(i) The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the Promoter determines, in its absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which these Conditions of Entry make no provision or in relation to which the relevant Conditions of Entry are unclear, the Promoter also reserves the right to make a decision regarding such situation or issue in its sole and absolute discretion and such decision will be final and binding.

9. Unclaimed prize draw

If prizes are not claimed within 3 months after the completion of the promotion, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted at 10.00 a.m. AEST on Monday 13th April 2009 at Tabcorp Holdings Ltd, 495 Harris Street, Ultimo NSW subject to any written directions. The winner will win a 7 day trip for two to the value of $9916 at a mutually agreed time between the winner and Tabcorp. Winners will be announced in the Australian on Friday 17th April 2009.

Make your own way to the airport today for your Cathay Pacific flight to Hong Kong, where upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your centrally located hotel.

Day 2, Wednesday 11 February - HONG KONG

Hong Kong changes so rapidly that the orientation tour this morning will refresh old memories and delight first timers. This evening you will be transferred to the Hong Kong Jockey Club's Happy Valley Racecourse for an exciting evening at the races. Enjoy the races while dining in style. On conclusion of the race you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3, Thursday 12 February - HONG KONG

Today is at leisure, and you have the opportunity to explore Hong Kong at your own pace. From the hustle and bustle of the downtown streets to the serenity that comes from visiting an ancient temple, Hong Kong offers a cultural experience like no other. An optional Shenzhen Lowu Shopping Tour is available that takes you to this famous sprawling shopping mall with plenty of bargains to be found!

Day 4, Friday 13 February - HONG KONG

Early morning track work awaits you today at Sha Tin racecourse, home to many Australian jockeys and trainers. You will have the opportunity to see the racehorses in action before returning to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure before boarding an authentic Chinese cruise boat for a spectacular Harbour Cruise of Victoria Harbour with its magnificent skyline highlighted by a laser light show!

Day 5, Saturday 14 February - HONG KONG

This morning you will depart Hong Kong by jetfoil to the old Portuguese territory of Macau. Here you can enjoy the many entertainment options at the many new casinos, prompting many to refer to Macau as the 'Las Vegas of Asia'. Afterwards, continue on to Macau Jockey Club for an afternoon of racing with a buffet lunch included.

Day 6, Sunday 15 February - HONG KONG

Transfer to the Sha Tin Racecourse today, a state-of-the-art facility, to enjoy an exciting day at the races. Enjoy fantastic racing while dining in style. You will be transferred back to your hotel at the end of the races, and enjoy an evening at leisure.

Day 7, Monday 16 February - HONG KONG AUSTRALIA

Your morning is at leisure for some last minute sightseeing or shopping before transferring to the airport for your flight home via Hong Kong.Accommodation: In Flight
