Enter the WALL·E litter prevention competition
WALL·E, the litter conscious robot, knows how important it is to look after the planet by keeping it clean and litter free.

Council is offering litter-wise residents the chance to win one of 10 WALL·E prize packs.

The pack includes:

WALL·E DVD
mouse pad
sticker sheet
t-shirt
colour pencils

Terms and conditions - WALL·E litter prevention competition
The Promoter of this competition is Brisbane City Council (‘Council’) whose principal offices are at 266 George Street, Brisbane.
Information on how to enter this competition forms part of these competition terms and conditions.
Entry into this competition is deemed an acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Prizes: There are 10 prizes. Each prize is one (1) x WALL·E prize pack valued at $93.79. The prize pack includes: WALL·E DVD, WALL·E mouse pad, WALL·E sticker sheet, WALL·E t-shirt, WALL·E colour pencils.
Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for any other product. Any additional expenses incurred by a prize-winner in accepting and utilising the prize will be the responsibility of that prize-winner.
Competition opening and closing dates: This competition opens at 9am on Monday 5 January 2009 and closes at 5pm on Sunday 25 January 2009.
Eligibility: To be eligible to enter this competition, a person must:

not be an employee or immediate family member of the Promoter, (including any related body corporate as defined in the Corporations Act, 2001)
fully and correctly complete all the details on the competition web page
HAVE TO BE A BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL RESIDENT
A person may enter this competition more than once however a person may only win one prize.
There will be 10 different prize-winners. The prize-winners will be the first 10 eligible entries submitted by different entrants randomly drawn.
Draw: Prizes will be drawn at 12noon, Monday 26 January 2009 by an officer of the Promoter. The drawer’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of the same.
Notification of prize-winners: The prize-winners will be notified through contact details supplied by them as part of their entry submitted via the website. The prize-winners will not be officially published in a newspaper, but the prize-winners’ names and suburbs may be disclosed in general media coverage about the WALL·E litter prevention competition. By entering into this competition, an entrant who becomes a prize-winner hereby consents to the disclosure of their name and suburb in the manner referred to in this condition 10.
Prize-winners will be contacted for their address details.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility whatsoever for late, misplaced, lost or ineligible entries. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability, or merchantability of the prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury (including death) suffered or sustained in connection with entry into this competition or acceptance or utilisation of the prizes. This condition is not intended to exclude any liability, which cannot be excluded under Australian consumer protection laws. Any such liability is limited to the re-supply of the applicable prize.
Important – Privacy: The entrant’s contact details provided on the competition entry form may be used by the Promoter to contact entrants with further waste minimisation information. Except as specified in condition 10, no personal information of an entrant will be disclosed, shared, sold or used outside of the Promoter.
