Terms and Conditions

1. To be eligible to enter, individuals must purchase any product from a participating Williams The Shoemen store nationally between 5/01/09 and close of business on 28/01/09.

2. To enter, individuals must then visit, follow the prompts to the competition entry page, input the requested details including their full name, address (including postcode), daytime contact number, date of purchase, full receipt number and store location and submit the fully completed entry form by 11:59pm AEDST on 28/01/09. Limit one (1) entry permitted per receipt transaction regardless of the number of products purchased.

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Entry is only open to Australian residents.

3. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating William retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

5. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

6. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per receipt transaction regardless of the number of products purchased; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.

7. Entrants must retain their original Williams purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Williams purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the promotional period but prior to entry.

8. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

9. The promotion commences on 5/01/09 and ends for purchases at close of business on 28/01/09. Final entries close at 11:59pm AEDST on 28/01/09. All draws will take place at Greeneagle Fulfilment Distribution, Unit 10, 20-28 Ricketty Street, Mascot NSW 2020 at 3pm AEDST on 5/02/09. Un-drawn entries in each Weekly Draw will be entered into any subsequent Weekly Draws and all entries (including winners in a Weekly Draw) will be entered into the Major Prize Draw. Winners will be notified by mail and winners will have their names published in The Australian on the 12/02/09.

10. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

11. Major Prize: The first valid entry drawn from all valid entries received will win the ‘Ultimate Home Entertainment Package’ valued at $3,099. The package consists of:

• 1 x Sanyo 42” plasma widescreen television (model number PDP42XR8DA);
• 1 x Sanyo DVD player (model number DVDDX516);
• 20 x Universal Pictures DVDs (titles to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion);
• 1 x Mummy 3 prize pack, consisting of the following:
• 1 x Mummy 3 DVD;
• 1 x Mummy 3 T-shirt (size to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion);
• 1 x Mummy 3 Collectors Book;
• 1 x Mummy 3 Backpack; and
• 1 X Mummy 3 Cap.

12. Weekly Prizes: The first three (3) valid entries drawn in Weekly Draw 1-3 and the first valid entry drawn in Weekly Draw 4 will each win a Mummy 3 prize pack valued each at $445. The prize pack consists of:

• 1 x Mummy 3 DVD;
• 7 x Universal Pictures DVDs (titles to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion);
• 1 x Mummy 3 T-shirt (size to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion); and
• 1 x Mummy 3 Collectors Book.

13. If the winner of any prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian.

14. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not redeem the prize or an element of the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.

15. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

16. Total prize pool value is $7,549.

17. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

18. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 21/05/09 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners’ names will be published in The Australian on 28/05/09.

19. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

20. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

21. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet Service Provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.

22. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.

23. As a condition of accepting a prize, the winner may be required to sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.

24. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. An entrant can stop this information being used for this purpose by contacting the Promoter. An entrant can access their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. To request access, update or correct information, the entrant can contact the Promoter. Privacy related queries can be directed to the Privacy Officer, Colorado Group Limited, GPO Box 344, Brisbane QLD 4001. All entries become the property of the Promoter.

It was so hard to decide if I wanted separate receipts (one entry per receipt) or the second pair of school shoes half price:D
