Yes - i agree that it's a great post but.... Paris is the City of Love! So unless you're looking for a Summer Romance, it's best to go with someone
else. Just think it's abit mean of the promoters. |

I would have given this a go but.....for just 1 person!....how lonely you would be!!...and if you don't speak french...that would be a bit daunting on
your own.
We went there in 2005 with whole family...hubby and 3 kids...we didn't know french...they can be very rude...they like to pretend they don't
understand English...Still it was a magnificent experience |

I was there in 2005 too with my 2 boys and hubby. I had school girl French and tried as best I could and no one was rude to us so I'm sorry that
happened to you. My then 11 year old everyday went to boulangerie across street and order 7 croissants and 1 brioche in very bad French and they
loved him! |

We mainly had trouble with Taxi drivers.Because there were 5 of us..we had to get 2 taxis when we were going from our hotel to bus stop. The hotel
people were very helpful...they were getting pretty annoyed with the taxis as well....I think the taxi drivers might have thought we were
Poms....don't think they like them much. |

perhaps the prize is for 1 because they think it will be for an artist who only eats, sleeps and breathes art
they have to be kidding AND they value the prize at $15,000 AND you have to let them have your artwork
thanks for posting Pammylou but I too will be leaving this one. my hubby is very understanding but (assuming I could win -hahaha) I don't think he'd
be too thrilled with me leaving him at home and trotting off to Paris on my own |
