cruise advice ideas please
My husband is celebrating his 40th in January and I was hoping to do something a little special.
So was looking at maybe doing a weekend cruise or 3-4 days. Our budget is a little tight atm and we have 4 kids so can't be away too long. Was looking
at something either from Melbourne or to Melbourne as we are based here and would therefore only need flights one way. Maybe in March or April
What I'm hoping is some lottoers might have some advice on companies, good and bad, what packages to look for, how you know whats included, wouldn't
want any nasty surprises and what your past experiences have been like.
I did think about getting a hotel in the city but thought this would be much more exciting however we don't want to feel like we are stuck with
nothing to do
Any advice welcome thanks |

Cruising is awesome. I have been on one and had the best fun. P&O do short cruises. They are great. In their price ALL meals, accommodation and
entertainment on the ship such as shows and games and things is included. So you don't even have to spend a penny once you get on if you don't want
to.
Go to their website pocruises.com.au I did a quick search and found one that goes from Melbourne to Sydney for 2 nights in March next year!
Depending on the type of room it would be about $350 per person. Pretty good for all meals and accommodation! |

I have done a few cruises some with the kids. some just hubby and me, I think they are great, I know there are some short cruises from melbourne, You
pay the fare which includes all your meals and your accomodation. Extras are you pay for your drinks and a tip for your room boys is also a good idea
as they keep your cabin great. Most activities on board are free, shows, movies, trivia games etc, there are also shops on board. You can be busy and
do lots or just kick back and relax. A great website for getting cheap deals is www.bestcruises.com.au grab a cruise brochure from your travel agent and take it home to find out more. about the boats, itineray and activities
on board. Good luck |

I love cruising.
P&O seem to do some short crusies i.e. you can do say a melb to brisbane leg of an australian journey. Or melb to perth say. Def check out their
website, but i'm not sure if they advertise them very often. |
