Hi thanks for getting in touch! You can purchase our products at any of the stores in Australia and as long as you upload your proof of purchase when
entering then you are in for the chance to win. Good luck!
So there you go, any shop is fine! |
Thank you very much for the info. Good luck |
Thanks clover. That's great to hear. x

Why bother saying to buy at participating stores, in the T&Cs if they are happy for you to buy it anywhere? |

Yes exactly Glucose. It seems many company's interpret the word 'participating' as "A shop which stocks our products". Considering we can't buy their
products at a store which doesn't stock their products, why bother specifying that. |

Thanks for the post KatrinaP.
Thanks to those who contacted re participating stores.
I agree T&C's are a bit all over the shop.
First they say "This is a game of chance, and skill plays no part" then follow with "The JUDGING will take place........."
Good Luck everyone.

yet there's nothing to judge. Many promoters use the word judge to mean "We will choose a winner" usually random draw.
Prize wins 2014: $37680
Prize wins 2011: $13000
previous years about $25000
The harder you work the luckier you get

Promotional period: 10:00 am AEST Monday 25 November 2019 – 12:00 pm AEST Saturday 29 February 2020.
Wow! These guys have added another WHOLE MONTH to the promotion period. I will change the closing date in the heading. Dammit! Makes our odds less
and less. Can they even do that???
Oh well, good luck everyone. x

It’s also stocked at Costco for those with memberships but I don’t know if they’d count as a participating stockist! |

I was gutted they extended their comp BY A MONTH!!! So I messaged them this:
"I just realised that you have extended the end date of this competition. Perhaps think about that before doing it again. People (in good faith)
purchase BEFORE your advertised end date and have hope they have a chance of winning... however, if the end date is extended by so much (a month),
their chances of winning are greatly diminished and they feel cheated. I have a couple of friends who have entered too and we are all very
disappointed that you decided to extend your competition for another month. It's not really fair, one thinks they have a chance, then their chance
gets MUCH smaller. Perhaps next time, decide on an end date, then have the integrity to keep it as stated in your T&C's. If WE have to follow
your T&C's, then please also follow them yourselves.
Again, great comp, just wish you stuck to your own original terms."

Hmmph! I did not realise this. I went to purchase more the other day. Entry detail flyers were on the shelf. Noticed closed at midday. It was 10 past
12. So I disappointedly put the jar back on the shelf. Missed a second entry by 10 minutes. My bad.....or is it theirs for extending? Staff will
likely take forms down now (keeping odds smaller) Not going to bother buying another. Just sticking with theory 'It only takes one entry'. Good luck
everyone. |

Nope! Even with current distractions, they should have made contact and posted winners somewhere by now. Fingers crossed a hamper turns up! |

I checked this morning as I had 20 entries. The T &C didn’t say (when I scanned it) that they would publish the winners anywhere. (I stand to be
corrected though) |

This is what's in their t&c. I haven't seen anything on their FB page.
4. The winner will be randomly selected and contacted directly once awarded and the winner published on our social media channels. |

I messaged Maille and asked about the winning announcement, here is their reply:
Hi ....... thank you for your interest in our competition. As you can imagine, due to COVID-19 and the current closure of French and Australian
borders, we have at present postponed the awarding of the Maille Win A Trip to Paris Competition until there's more clarity on travel restrictions.
Rest assured, entries have closed and a winner will be determined in the coming weeks. We are looking into all possible options, such as extended the
travel dates to 2021, and will be in contact with the winner once we can make a better informed decision. Thank you for your understanding at this
unprecedented time. Warm regards, Maille Australia.
So I replied with this:
Thanks, but everyone entered hoping to win, you would lift the spirits of the winners by announcing the win... the letting them know, although they
are the winner, the prize details will be on hold for a little while. I'm sure the winner will be absolutely ok with that. Not drawing and
announcing a winner... especially after prolonging your competition a month longer than originally stipulated in your own T&C's, is a bit
annoying. We all purchased, then you changed the end date, now you don't announce the winner. It would just be nice to know you have a winner, not
be wondering "did they even draw it?". Some of us have over ten entries and are very hopeful. Just saying. Thanks for running the promotion, but
waiting a couple of weeks won't make much difference, the boarders are closed. Only hope remains intact. |

Thanks for doing that itspossible.
It's mind boggling that they think it's ok to postpone awarding the prize, but not tell anyone. |

Maille Hi Despina, due to a high number of submissions we have been delayed on drawing the prize. We will notify the winner in the coming days.

I don't know how the number of submissions can delay a random draw?!
