I messaged Nutella on Facebook stating that the jars at my Woolworths had codes scratched off and that I hoped that they were asking for receipts to
verify entries.
This was their reply:
"Hi Gilda, we do ask for receipts in accordance with our T&C’s linked here https://bit.ly/3bGl73i For any jars you purchase that have the codes scratched off, please send us a private message with an image of the jar, as
we will verify the entry and disqualify the code if it has not been entered in accordance with our t&c’s."
"Hi Gilda, we forgot to add that we will also issue a new code for you to enter with if this is the case"
I still find it hard to believe that they are checking receipts though!!!

Second name on winners list I know, checked with both, no didn't even enter.
I still believe names have been taken off some data base and maybe no one will ever see a toaster. |

You might need to get these people to contact them, and ask if there us anything they need to do. Be interesting to hear their response. |

Wow! have just been reading all the comments on this comp which I had not really bothered to enter as I cannot have Nutella in my house or I just eat
it straight from the jar until it is gone! So, decided to have a look at that winners' list of names. That has to be a fake, or as someone says,
lifted from some other comp. I agree, when you have been in this game long enough you definitely get to know compers' names. Those names are either
completely fictional or from some international database...I mean I know we are a multi-cultural country, and I love that about Australia, but the
proportion of very obscure non-Anglo sounding names to the actual prevalence of people in the community who might have those names is completely
wrong, it just cannot be a chance thing. Glad that I did not cave in and buy Nutella now. Hope those who have queried them get some answers. Good
luck!
Edit; Curiosity got the better of me so I started googling the White Pages https://www.whitepages.com.au/residential with half a dozen of the more extreme names and what do you know, none of them had any results
NATIONALLY! Not a single person with that surname in all of Australia-yes maybe they all have unlisted numbers-yeah, right! |

WE ALL KNOW the winners list is a scam, please is there anyone amongst us compers who knows how we can get this sorted now, before the comp ends, then
it will be too late. This Matriarch is not computer savvy enough. |

DONE. Sent to NSW, ACT & SA departments. For others interested, I just highlighted the state and permit numbers then right clicked, then selected
'Google NSW Permit No...... The page came up of the appropriate website. I went through 'Contact Us' section, and selected complaint in the drop down
menu. I ticked the box to say I wanted feedback or a response. Fingers crossed at least ONE of them responds.
If anyone curious to know what I wrote, please u2u me with an email address and I will forward to you. Bit lengthy for here. Onwards and upwards. |

Hope that you get a response Snazzie.
As I said, I didn't enter this comp so I do not feel that I am really in any position to make enquiries of the promoter, I just became intrigued when
I saw the number of pages in this post-at first I thought that there must have been a lot of winners
Even though I haven't entered, I realise how annoying this is for those who did. And it is generally annoying for us compers who always try to do
everything we have to do to comply with the rules. Hope that the promoter does get pulled up by the regulating authorities if there is something dodgy
going on. Best of luck! |

As i stated previously in a post on this thread. I contacted one of the winners from SA on her Facebook page, she mentioned she did enter the comp but
never heard anything (this was weeks ago).
Anyway I just messaged her again and she said she still hasn't heard from Nutella, no email or phone call regarding her win.
The terms and conditions says winners to be contacted within 2 days of draw so that is obviously not happening. |

Wow, what a mess. Maybe they started to award real people now, because I recognised one name. Hopefully this is the case. Tiggerlover have you entered
this competition? Is it you on the list? |

I included this component in my complaint to ensure T&C's are followed and that evidence is needed to show 'winners' were in fact contacted within
2 days....along with every other problem. |

If it is you tiggerlover, Congratulations! It would be I interesting to hear whether you are contacted within 2 days, or even in a timely manner AND
what sort of verification they are asking for. |

I'm glad I don't really need a toaster. I am not buying any more. It has palm oil.
Prize wins 2014: $37680
Prize wins 2011: $13000
previous years about $25000
The harder you work the luckier you get

I was very sceptical but I saw a name I knew. I messaged her. She was a winner and was emailed. I believe she had to produce receipts.
All I can think of is that this is a very large competition and popular. We are also including New Zealand in this don’t forget. There are millions of
jars out there! In saying that, in my over 20 years comping, I have never ever won anything from Cadbury. Again, another popular product with many
entries.
Hope this info helps |

The promoters would definitely know about this by now so if their was anything shady going on they would be dumb not to start awarding real winners to
make it seem like it's been legit this whole time....
I've contacted relevant bodies today to hopefully get this looked into and would recommend everyone doing the same to not make some actual progress.
In all my years of comping I've never done or even considered doing something like this which should say something. |

This week's winners are up.
https://s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com/cdn01.peazie.com/Nut...
There's a couple of names that seem to have appeared before.
And there's a couple of names of possible compers, but with just an initial, it's hard to tell. |
