Interesting. When I won the Pathfinder from Nissan a few years ago, the manager said they received quite a few creative entries like cars made of
nuts and bolts etc, but they were instantly disqualified as it wasn't part of the terms and conditions. |

From T & Cs
“If you’re a keen bean, you can always ask to be part of the Prize draw audience.”
How could that be if it was judged?

There is no reason that an entry such as this one would be disqualified, it is within what the T&Cs state, so good luck to the winner |

Sometimes I wonder why they put an entry form up at all?
Regardless of people's opinions of how the wording might be interpreted... the fact is it says:
HOW TO ENTER
Simply fill in your details below...
There isn't an "or send something in" option anywhere I can see. |

They can't stand feedback, have limited post because a few(including myself) let them know how we feel.
i hope the next time they have a comp then they get 1,000's of entries in the post to teach then a lesson |

I'd love to think I'm wrong on this one.
Could you copy and paste where in the T&C's it says people can mail or deliver things?
I read the T&C's and could only see online entry? |

"Thank you all for your comments on our previous post announcing the winner of our Great Aussie Roadtrip competition. We have taken that post down at
the request of the winner. We can confirm the winner complied with all competition Terms & Conditions and did complete the online entry form,
telling us in 100 words or less ‘where she would go & what she would do on her Great Aussie Roadtrip’. Her entry was deemed the most creative and
therefore she won! It was a tough one to judge and we thank everyone for entering. We had an overwhelming number of entries for this competition -
over 10,000! If you would like a copy of the competition T&Cs please send us a DM and we will happily provide. Thank you."

I didn't enter either but they are trying to cover their own backsides.
And the winner requested their entry be taken down because there was too much flak regarding incorrect entry mechanism maybe? |

Ltd., ACN 004 663 156, of 1 Peters Avenue, Mulgrave VIC, 3170
www.nissan.com.au / 03 9797 4111 (“Promoter”).
FIRST THINGS FIRST – CAN YOU ENTER?
2 You sure can – as long as you are:
(a) an Australian resident;
(b) a grown-up at the moment of entry (if you behave like a kid but are over 18 you still qualify);
(c) and cool about all relevant terms and conditions(“Eligible Entrant”).
3 Stop reading right now if you are: an employee/director, of the Promoter or one of their immediate family members; a retailer, supplier, associated
company, or agency of the Promoter; or a person who the Promoter has previously notified is not eligible to enter. Sorry - you’ll have to sit this one
out.
HOW TO ENTER
4 It’s pretty easy. Tell us in 100 words or less where you would go and what you would do on your Great Aussie Roadtrip by 11:59PM AEST on Friday 30th
July, 2021 (“Promotion Period”). You will then automatically go into the draw for this Promotion.

inaudible, indecipherable or incomprehensible entries will be binned for recycling.6 Only one entry perperson is allowed. You can only enter in your
own name. We reserve the right to check the validity of all entries and to disqualify you if we reasonably believe that your entry does not comply
with these terms and conditions or the entry process has been tampered with. We may also report you to a law enforcement body or seek damages from

entry. All entries will be judged by the representatives of the Nissan Australia Marketing Team, who cannot be bribed (not even with cookies) and
whose decision is final (“Judge(s)”).
10 All Prize(s) will be awarded to the winning entrants based on the subjective decision of Judge(s)’s assessment of the creativity and originality of

business days of the draw. We’ll also publish the Winner on our Facebook page.
13 If we can’t track down a Winner despite making all reasonable efforts to do so by 5pm AEST Friday 6th August, 2021, or if the Winner doesn’t claim
their Prize by the time we specify, then their Prize will be forfeited. Our Judges’ may judge other “back-up” winning entrants who may become the new
Winner. If the new Winner cannot be contacted by 5pm AEST Friday 13th August, 2021, they will forfeit and the process may be repeated until a suitable
Winner is successfully contacted by the Promoter.

Well I guess this is a wake up call for anyone here (including me) who enters a competition online and THINKS they have a chance. Take a moment to
message the promoter before the comp ends and make them aware that some people deliver creative entries, regardless of what T&C's say. I was
messaging promoters pre-covid, but had gotten out of the habit. Now it's time to get back to messaging them again for comps I enter, this comp is the
perfect example.
All we want is a chance to win on an even playing field. |
