CREATIVE ENTRIES
Hi all,
There are some great comps beginning to flow through and I imagine, as Australia gets vaccinated, more and more comps will follow.
As you all know, I'm a great advocate for the winner of any competition being drawn as per T&C's.
We've all been in a bit of comping "hibernation", due to Covid, but things will be busy again soon. With Christmas coming and companies wanting to
promote their products, to lure us all back with great prizes.
From now on, if T&C's require online entry only, I'll message the promoter regarding the possible arrival of creative entries. However, I will
ALSO be attaching two or three photos of creative entries (which I already have).
If any lottoer happens to have a photo of a creative entry, please U2U me and I'll add that photo to my collection.
Different creative entry photos can be used, depending on the type of competition or prize. For example: new car, motorbike, boat, overseas trip,
cruise, cash, caravan, Aussie holiday etc. may all have different creative entry photos which can be used.
The more example photos of creative entries I have, the better I can tailor which photos I send to which promoter, specific to that competition or
prize, as an example of what may arrive.
So, whatever creative entry photo you may have saved, just message me and I'll grab it off you.
Just trying to keep things fair for all those who enter as per T&C's. |

I think the poster is talking about people who enter with creative entries when the t & c's don't allow them/don't specify whether they're
acceptable.
Asking if people have pics of past creative entries that have been used in comps and if so, would they care to share?
I think that's the gist of the original post? |

Yes, that's it. If a promoter can actually see a photo of a creative entry, they will be less "amazed" if a creative entry arrives and hopefully will
decide to draw from online entries as per their rules.
I have three creative entry photos, from past competitions, but would love a pile more, so I can choose photos specific to the promotion or prize.

Isn't there a thread on lottos about this with a few photos from members with creative entries?
There were a couple of recent Facebook comps - Golden Crumpets and OMF that were won with creative entries, perhaps you could check them out. |

not sure if anyone managed to get a screenshot or similar from this recent Nissan comp?
Where they mentioned the winner was creative but then backtracked and removed the post/pic as well?

I didn't get a shot of that, but I did see it and was so disappointed. That's exactly the type of photo I'm after, to send to promoters. The perfect
example for all lottoers... online entry - but prize awarded to a creative entry sent in. |

I would love promoters to stick to their rules but if the T and C’s say entries will be judged and the “most creative” entry will win and not that it
will be drawn I’m not sure there’s a lot we can do about it as the word “creative” is so subjective.
I would also love it when winning judged word or less entries actually answer the question as many do not, made especially hard when often there is a
different question on the entry form then the T and C’s. |

Totally agree. If the T&C's say most creative entry will win, then it's open season. But if the T&C's say entry is via the online form...
then that's the only way entries should arrive.

And here was me thinking all this overriding entry mechanisms was so five years ago! Seems there is always a naive promoter out there to exploit!

Thanks! I got a great response! Some awesome lotto members have messaged me some fabulous creative entry photos, which they had saved from previous
comps.
Do feel free to U2U me if you have any photos you would also like to add to my collection, for me to use when I'm messaging promoters regarding people
sending in creative entries, when T&C's state entry is via an online form. |

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I think we need a better term than 'creative' entries. Creative means imaginative or unique, and can apply to
written online entries just as much as a physical or visual entry. When Ts and Cs say a WOL will be judged on creativity (as many do), that doesn't
mean they accept physical or visual entries. Hopefully everyone tries to make their WOLs creative (imaginative or unique) - you just don't want to
unfairly compete against WAMs - words and more |
