For each half-hour of each day of the Promotional Period, a pre-determined “winning
time” will be selected by a computerised random system at 389/44 Lakeview Drive
Scoresby VIC 3179. The first valid entry received at that “winning time” will win an
instant prize. For the avoidance of doubt, a half-hour runs from the start of an hour to
29 minutes past the hour (inclusive), or from 30 minutes past the hour to 59 minutes
past the hour (inclusive), e.g. 12pm – 12.29pm, 12.30pm – 12.59pm. There will be a
total of 1,680 "winning times"; one per half-hour of each day of the Promotional
Period. A maximum of one (1) instant prize will be awarded in respect of each
"winning time". |

These competitions should be banned. Even if we all boycotted them on here. It's nothing compared to what they'd get with the standard lay person
buying for their family once a week thinking they're in for a red hot chance. It's criminal. |

Yep and they're run by the most multi billionaire companies. Making money hand over fist..... Honestly I'm almost about to put every company who does
these promos on my banned list (along with Nestle). |

Only the ‘won’ but unclaimed will be in the second chance draw. What a scam! |

I usually avoid these "winning moment" comps as they are really unfair. Unfortunately I love Salada crackers so I might get an entry in |

I put an entry in yesterday afternoon and got this message....
Processing your entry.
Please bear with us a minute as we scan your receipt and contact details to verify your entry and see whether you are a winner!
Still, nearly 24 hours later, have heard nothing further....???
Has this happened to anyone else? |

After about 10 seconds of processing, it came up with sorry you’re not a winner. Just keep your browsers open until it displays. |

I find myself wondering... did Arnotts suggest to Woolies it should be winning moment? Or would Woolies have suggest it to Arnotts that it's such a
great way to make lots of money? A competition where you don't have to award many of the advertised prizes? Does make me wonder who suggests winning
moments over instant win after designated time.
The "licence" companies need to run promotions is probably where we should look to see if winning moments can be banned from competitions. Does
anyone know where to start?
If this is the future of comping... it just not fair.
Advertised prizes should ALL be allocated, not just a few. |

I think it could be the promotions companies who run the comps for the companies who are suggesting winning moments. If they can run a comp but it
doesn't cost the company as much (because so few prizes are won), I'm sure it makes them look good.
