How much did you win in 2021?
The end of 2021 is almost here, and for many of us we can't wait for it to be over!
It's now time to start adding up our wins for 2021.
Feel free to stay Anonymous and just click on the amount you've won, or you can add a message if you
wish.
IMPORTANT - There's still plenty of time left to win this year (especially with so many Advent comps running) so there is no need to do the
poll yet.
Hopefully there'll be a big win in the next few weeks for some of us.
Certainly, if you feel that you won't win enough to make it into the next bracket, then by all means click your total. Otherwise, wait until closer to
the end of the year, or even the beginning of next year.
Note, once you make a choice, you can't go back later and change it.
If you haven't done so already, don't forget to add your wins to the Lottos Wins thread, so your total can be
included in the Lottos Grand Total for the year.
You don't have to specify exactly which comp/s you've won, just general prizes and dollar amounts is fine.
There's a new thread every day, or so, and weekend. Here's the link for the current thread (for 28 Dec):

Median (where 50% of people won more & 50% have won less) - I just calculated where it would fall if the wins fell evenly across the range. So
it's not totally accurate but gives us a figure to work with.
Won less than $1,000
2010 - 10% (1 in 10 members)
2011 - 15% (1 in 7 members)
2013 - 14% (1 in 7 members)
2014 - 16% (1 in 6 members)
2015 - 16% (1 in 6 members)
2016 - 21% (1 in 5 members)
2017 - 23% (1 in 4 members)
2018 - 30% (1 in 3 members)
2019 - 24% (1 in 4 members)
2020 - 32% (1 in 3 members)
2021 - 22% (1 in 5 members)
Over $50,000 (our big winners)
2010 - 8.3% (1 in 12 members)
2011 - 5.9% (1 in 17 members)
2013 - 5.5% (1 in 18 members)
2014 - 7.7% (1 in 13 members)
2015 - 6.5% (1 in 15 members)
2016 - 2.7% (1 in 37 members)
2017 - 3.8% (1 in 26 members)
2018 - 2.9% (1 in 34 members)
2019 - 7.6% (1 in 13 members)
2020 - 3.2% (1 in 31 members)
2021 - 4.0% (1 in 25 members)
2019 was a great year for wins over $50,000 with 1 in 13 members winning this amount in prizes.
I think that 2021 has been a very different year for compers.
Lottos Grand Total winnings:
2010 - $6,075,719
2011 - $5,492,744
2012 - $4,246,730
2013 - $4,091,122
2014 - $3,682,107
2015 - $2,832,805
2016 - $1,783,257
2017 - $2,290,426
2018 - $1,401,626
2019 - $1,351,280
2020 - $1,168,674

Just a reminder:
If you haven't done so already, don't forget to add your wins to the Lottos Wins thread, so your total can be included in the Lottos Grand Total for
the year.
You don't have to specify exactly which comp/s you've won, just general prizes and dollar amounts is fine.
There's a new thread each day, or so, and weekend. Here's the link again for the current thread, for 28 Dec.

With 10 days to go to the end of the month, we're sitting on $484,801 as a group (our lowest ever), when we've always had a Lottos grand total over $1
million.
I'm sitting on a little under $10k, so I'm going to wait until the end of the year to click my total in hope that I get a few more wins and I can
cross that line. |

Last year's median was just $3,800. Let's see if we can beat it this year. |

Thanks Smiley.
This will be interesting for this year. Last year, for 2020, the Winners Circle total was just under $1M.
The Winner’s Circle total as it stands this year is just under $500k
Will be interesting how much a dramatic decrease this has on the median in this thread |

I've just tallied up the latest wins on our current winners thread and it's now at $51,808.
So that has taken our grand total over the $500,000 mark.
Please add your wins to the thread at:
https://www.lottos.com.au/competitions/viewthreadlite.php?ti...
Even if you haven't posted any wins during the year, like me and others, you can post your total amount for the year to be added to the Grand Total.
And if you wish to remain anonymous, just message a mod or Marga384, who's the original poster of the thread, to post it anonymously for you. |

We now have 44 responses, and our mean is just under $5,000. (similar to the past few years)
And our grand total is now over $550,000. Way below past years, but still plenty of time for people to add their latest wins, or yearly totals, to our
Lottos Wins thread at:

I wonder how many people join then enter nothing but mean to do something 'one day? I think two or three of my friends are in that group.
If there was a section for won $0 they be in it but they would fill the form as they don't log in. They only look at it when visiting us. They have
all renewed their membership at least once. Good intentions I guess.
Prize wins 2014: $37680
Prize wins 2011: $13000
previous years about $25000

I'm holding off until the very last min as I'm just under $5,000 and I'm hoping to go over. I think quite a few people will add in their answers on
the last day.

That's right, lots of people, me included, hold off till the very end, especially if you're close to moving up a category. It happens like this every
year. I even let it run over a couple of weeks into January to give people time to tally up for the year. We should get about 200 responses by the
end.
I'm about $335 short of $10,000. The sad part is that I have not won a single prize this month. I have a feeling I'm not going to win that last $335
in prizes.

Happy New Year, everyone!
Today is the last day of wins to be included in your tally. However, the poll will be open for a few more weeks to give everyone time to tally up and
respond.
We have 89 responses up to now. Hopefully we'll get another 100 or so before the poll closes in a few weeks time. |

Now that the 2021 is over, I've added a column for it's stats.
So far, we have 109 responses, and the mean of wins is $4,385. At least that's better than last year.
And adding up the Lottos wins for the year, we're sitting on just $658,558. Hopefully a lot more people will add their totals and we can reach $1m.
This poll will stay open for a couple more weeks, so keep clicking. |
